Grindavik has added combo guard Daniel Guamundsson to its roster for the second half of the season. Daniel last played for Stjarnan in Iceland 2010-2011, but has been in Sweden since then. He 6ppg, 2.1rpg, 1.5apg while shooting 35.6% from three in his season with Stjarnan and was a part of the Stjarnan team that advanced to the finals.

Daniel has been plagued with injuries after the 2010-2011 season, but is back to full health and should strengthen the Grindavik squad.

D1 Round 5: Vestri wins their first game - 2 hours ago

It's still too early stage of the Regular Season in D1, but even now we can clearly see the differece between stronger teams and outsiders. Vestri can celebrate their first win this season after four consecutive losses. The victory is especially important as it came on the road game in Akranes, where they defeated IA (0-4) 82-77 on Sunday. Best players of Icelandic Dominos League round 3 - 9 hours ago

American Amin Stevens (203-F-90) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Keflavik and that's him to receive a Player of the Week award for round 3. The 26-year old forward had a double-double of 32 points and fifteen rebounds, while his team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team Snaefell (#11, 0-3) with 29-point margin 111-82. Dominos League Round 3: Grindavik loses to KR - 1 day ago

It's still too early stage of the Regular Season in Dominos League, but even now we can clearly see the differece between stronger teams and outsiders. The biggest surprise of round 3 in Dominos League took place in Reykjavik where host KR (3-0) crushed Grindavik (2-1) 87-62 on Thursday evening. The game was mostly controlled by KR.
