Michael
Craion
American Michael Craion (195-F-89, agency: Ronsport) had an amazing evening in the last round for Keflavik and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 11.
The 23-year old forward had a double-double of 32 points and nineteen rebounds, while his team outclassed IR (#10, 3-8) with 27-point margin 111-84. Keflavik maintains the 6th position in Icelandic Express L.. Keflavik is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 6-5 record. Craion turned to be Keflavik's top player in his first season with the team. Oral Roberts University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Craion is in league's top in points (8th best: 20.8ppg), rebounds (2nd best: 13.5rpg) and averages solid 1.7bpg and 56.8% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 27-year old international center Finnur Magnusson (208-C-85) of KR. Magnusson impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 24 points and 14 rebounds. Of course he lead KR to another comfortable win 104-87 over the lower-ranked KFI (#12, 2-9) being unquestionably team leader. This victory allowed KR to move up to 4th position in the standings. His team's 7-3 record is not bad at all. Magnusson is one of the most experienced players at KR and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was American Haminn Quaintance (201-F-85, agency: Z.A.G. - Law Offices) of Skallagrimur (#7). Quaintance showcased his all-around game by recording 17 points, nineteen rebounds (!!!) and four assists in the last round. He was a key player of Skallagrimur, leading his team to a 76-72 win against slightly higher-ranked Thor Thorl (#5, 7-3). The chances of Skallagrimur ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 6 games, recording just four victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Quaintance could help Skallagrimur to bring them higher in the standings. Quaintance has a great season in Iceland. After only 9 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 20.3ppg (9th best), rebounds with 11.8rpg (3rd best) and assists with 4.6apg (6th best). He also has 3.1spg, 1.8bpg and FGP: 53.5%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Damier Pitts (177-PG-89) of KFI - 35 points and 8 assists
5. George Valentine (203-F) of Tindastoll - 20 points and 14 rebounds
6. Palmi Sigurgeirsson (190-G-78) of Snaefell - 24 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists
7. Asim McQueen (203-F-88) of Snaefell - 29 points and 8 rebounds
8. Isaac Miles (187-G-88) of Fjolnir - 19 points and 11 rebounds
9. Kristofer Acox (195-G-93) of KR - 21 points and 9 rebounds
10. David Jackson (201-F-88) of Thor Thorl - 24 points, 10 rebounds and 3 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
