Lele Hardy
American Lele Hardy (182-SF-88, agency: Merit Sports) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Njardvik and that's her to receive a Player of the Week award for round 23.
The 24-year old had a double-double of 25 points and twenty one rebounds, while her team lost the game against Haukar (#5, 11-12) 63-68. Njardvik maintains the 6th position in Icelandic Express L.. Njardvik is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. But it was their 16th lost game this season out of 23 games. In the team's last game Hardy had a remarkable 58.3% from 2-point range. It's her second year at Njardvik and it's hard to imagine this team without her. Clemson University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Hardy. Hardy is in league's top in points (2nd best: 29.6ppg), assists (5th best: 4.7apg) and averages solid 5.2spg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 25-year old American guard Britney Jones (172-G-87) of Fjolnir. Jones impressed basketball fans with 36 points, 3 rebounds and 5 assists. Bad luck as Fjolnir lost that game 76-92 to the higher-ranked Snaefell (#2, 17-6). Fjolnir are still at the very bottom. 20 lost games are too many comparing to just three victories Fjolnir managed to get this year. Jones is well-known by Fjolnir fans and she already established her position as one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 31.9ppg (#1). Her other stats are also decent: 6.0rpg and 5.9apg.

The third best performed player last round was American Kieraah Marlow (178-F-85) of second-ranked Snaefell. Marlow showcased her all-around game by recording 26 points, fifteen rebounds (!!!) and five assists in the last round. She was a key player of Snaefell, leading her team to a 92-76 easy win against the lower-ranked Fjolnir (#8, 3-20). Snaefell needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 17 victories and 6 lost games. Marlow has a great season in Iceland. After 21 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 19.8ppg (5th best) and rebounds with 11.0rpg (3rd best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Shannon McCallum (177-G-87) of KR - 38 points, 13 rebounds and 3 assists

6. Jessica Jenkins (172-G-90) of Keflavik - 26 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
