Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top performances of Icelandic who are currently playing abroad.

Hlynur Baeringsson
Hlynur Baeringsson
#1. This week's number one is an international forward Hlynur Baeringsson (200-82, currently plays in Sweden), who plays in the Swedish Basketligan. He could not help Sundsvall Dragons (26-6) in their last game. Despite Baeringsson's very good performance the league leader Sundsvall Dragons was crushed 102-69 on the road by the second-ranked Uppsala Basket. He was the top scorer with 22 points. Baeringsson also added 5 rebounds in 30 minutes on the court. His team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. Baeringsson is currently first on the list of best rebounders with 10.2rpg. He also averaged so far 14.7ppg, 3.4apg, 1.4spg, 2FGP: 58.0%(134-231), 3FGP: 43.6% and FT: 70.5% in the 32 games he played so far. Baeringsson is currently a member of the Icelandic senior national team.

Jakob Sigurdarson
Jakob Sigurdarson
#2. Second place goes to an international point guard Jakob Sigurdarson (192-82, college: Birm.Southern, currently plays in Sweden) is a teammate of previously mentioned Hlynur Baeringsson. But that was another game of his team in Swedish Basketligan which we would like to mention. Sigurdarson contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Boras Basket (21-11) crushing them 111-88. He recorded 6 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Sundsvall Dragons (26-6) is placed first in the Basketligan. It's Sigurdarson's fourth season with the team. Sigurdarson is currently sixth on the list of top scorers. He has individually a very good season with high stats. Sigurdarson averages: 17.8ppg, 3.3rpg, 3.1apg, 3FGP: 38.6% and FT: 91.4%(128-140). He is in the roster of the Icelandic senior national team.

Hoerdur Vilhjalmsson
Hoerdur Vilhjalmsson
#3. The Icelandic player who performed third best last week abroad was an international point guard Hoerdur Vilhjalmsson (194-88, currently plays in Germany). Vilhjalmsson contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked New Yorker Phantoms (10-15) crushing them 92-58 in the German BBL on Saturday night. He had a double-double by scoring 10 points and making the same number of passes in 30 minutes. Mitteldeutscher BC Weissenfels (10-15) is placed 14th in the BBL. They ended the series of three consecutive loses. This year Vilhjalmsson's overall stats are: 9.9ppg, 2.1rpg, 2.4apg, 2FGP: 44.3%, 3FGP: 33.3% and FT: 78.3% in the 25 games. He is also a member of the Icelandic senior national team.

#4. Guard Pavel Ermolinskij (202-87, agency: I.D.S. Law, currently plays in Sweden) was not able to help Norrkoping Dolphins (3-2) in their game against White Eagles (6-26) in the Swedish Basketligan. Ermolinskij recorded 6 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Norrkoping Dolphins was edged 96-94 in Stockholm by the one of league's weakest teams White Eagles (#11). His team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And now that game is very crucial. Ermolinskij belongs to league's best passers and is ranked #6. His total stats this season are: 9.7ppg, 6.7rpg, 4.5apg and 1.2spg. Ermolinskij is also Icelandic national team player.
