Snaefell played very well and out played Hamar first three quarters but the game is four quarters. Snaefell totally gave up in last 10 minute and lost 87-71. Hamar posted the third win in the season. They defeated Grindavik 63:58 on the road to improve at 3-1 record. Grindavik looked better in the opening frame. They posted an 18:10 lead but could not capitalize. Hamar trimmed the distance at 5 points after twenty minutes. The hosts maintained the lead throughout the third quarter heading into the fourth frame ahead by 5 points. Michele DeVault (180-G/F-86) responded with 15 points and 9 boards for Grindavik. The defending champions Haukar held off Valur 71:57. The victory propelled Haukar to 3-2 record in the standings. Heather Ezell (175-G-87, college: Iowa St.) exploded with 35 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists for the winning team. Haukar led by as many as 13 points at halftime. Haukar stayed in front in a low-scoring third stanza. They never loosened the grasp in the final period and sealed the winning outcome at the end. Ragna Margret Brynjarsdottir (188-C-90) netted 10 points for the winners. Sakera Young (170-G-86, college: Massachusetts) answered with 14 points, 10 boards and 6 assists for Valur. Hrund Johannsdottir (87) nailed 11 points in defeat.
