There are only two more rounds left in the Regular Season in Dominos League.

Sixth-ranked Keflavik (10-10) gave a tough game to first ranked KR (16-4) in Reykjavik on Thursday. KR managed to secure only two-point victory 82-80. However their fans expected much easier game. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Keflavik. Keflavik trailed by 11 points after 3 quarters before a 22-13 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 80-82 at the end of the game. Worth to mention a great performance of Nigerian-American forward PJ Alawoya (203-88, college: McNeese St., agency: Inception Sports) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds and the former international guard Brynjar Bjornsson (188-88, college: Francis Marion) who added 26 points during the contest. American forward Amin Stevens (203-90, college: Florida A&M) responded with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists. KR have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 16-4 record. Keflavik at the other side dropped to the fifth place with ten games lost. They share the position with 3 other teams. KR are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Snaefell (#12) in Stykkisholmur in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Keflavik will play at home against Thor AK (#8) and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
Important game to mention about took place in Thorlakshofn. Seventh ranked IR (10-10) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging 5th ranked Thor Thorl (10-10) 74-71 in the fight for the fifth place. The winners were led by American forward Quincy Hankins-Cole (203-90) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 14 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists and Danero Thomas supported him with 21 points and 7 rebounds. Even a double-double of 27 points and 10 rebounds by American guard Tobin Carberry (193-91, college: LIU Post, agency: HMS) did not help to save the game for Thor Thorl. IR moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Thor Thorl. IR will play against Njardvik (#9) in Njardvik in the next round. Thor Thorl will play on the road against Skallagrimur (#11) in Borgarnes and hopes to get back on the winning track.
The game between Top Four teams took place in Grindavik. 4th ranked host Grindavik (11-9) was smashed by third ranked Stjarnan (15-5) 96-77. The best player for the winners was Hlynur Baeringsson who had a double-double by scoring 18 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists. Olafur Olafsson produced 26 points and 6 rebounds for the hosts. Stjarnan moved-up to second place, which they share with Tindastoll. Loser Grindavik keeps the fourth position with nine games lost. Stjarnan will meet at home Haukar (#10) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Grindavik will play against the league's second-placed Tindastoll (#2) in Sauoarkrokur and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Bottom-ranked Snaefell (0-20) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their 20th consecutive match to eleventh ranked Haukar (7-13) 102-83. Snaefell will play against the league's leader KR (#1) and will have a slim chance for a victory.

In the last two games of round 20 Njardvik lost to Thor AK on the opponent's court 85-92. Skallagrimur unfortunately lost to Tindastoll in a home game 81-88.

Haukar - Snaefell 102-83

Bottom-ranked Snaefell (0-20) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their 20th consecutive match to eleventh ranked Haukar (7-13) 102-83. The game was mostly controlled by Haukar. Snaefell was better in third quarter 27-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Haukar dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Snaefell's 42. They outrebounded Snaefell 52-40 including 18 on the offensive glass. Haukar players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. American guard Sherrod Wright (193-91, college: George Mason) orchestrated the victory by scoring 25 points and 7 rebounds. Guard Haukur Oskarsson (194-91) contributed with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Five Haukar players scored in double figures. American guard Christian Covile (193-93, college: Adrian) replied with 29 points and 9 rebounds and guard Snjolfur Bjornsson (183-94) added 8 points and 6 assists in the effort for Snaefell. Everything could happen in Akureyri at the game between two tied teams. Both eighth ranked Thor AK and 9th ranked Njardvik had identical 9-10 record. This time Thor AK used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Njardvik 92-85. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Njardvik won third quarter 30-21. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. 25 personal fouls committed by Njardvik helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American guard George Beamon (193-91, college: Manhattan) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 13 rebounds. The former international guard Darrel Lewis (192-76, college: Lincoln, MO) contributed with 24 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. The former international Logi Gunnarsson (190-81) replied with 21 points and 5 assists and American guard Myron Dempsey (203-91, college: Paul Quinn, agency: Mansfield and Associates) added 18 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Njardvik. Very predictable result in Borgarnes where second ranked Tindastoll (15-5) defeated 10th ranked Skallagrimur (7-13) 88-81. Skallagrimur was ahead by 3 points after three quarters before a 26-16 charge of Tindastoll, which allowed them to win the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. American forward Antonio Hester (198-90, college: Mobile, AL) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 12 rebounds. Guard Petur Birgisson (185-96) contributed with 26 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Hester is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American forward Flenard Whitfield (200-90, college: W.Michigan) replied with 25 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Sigtryggur Bjornsson (180-93) added 21 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Skallagrimur. Four Skallagrimur players scored in double figures. Skallagrimur's coach Finnur Jonsson rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Tindastoll have an impressive five-game winning streak.
