Hamar outlasted Fjolnir at home court to even the series at 1-1. The hosts trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 30-20 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Hamar forced 24 Fjolnir turnovers. 33 personal fouls committed by Fjolnir helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American forward Chris Woods (195-89, college: Pfeiffer) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 29 points, 17 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. Guard Erlendur Stefansson (190-95, college: Black Hills St.) contributed with 28 points for the winners. Guard Robert Sigurdsson (187-94) replied with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 8 rebounds and 12 assists and American Marques Oliver (201-91, college: Delaware St.) added 18 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Fjolnir. Four Hamar and five Fjolnir players scored in double figures. Fjolnir's coach Hjalti Vilhjalmsson tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help.

Breidablik - Valur 85-90

Valur upset Breidablik on the road to take 2-0 lead. The guests were already 21 points ahead at halftime and as many as 24 after three quarters before a 31-12 last quarter charge of Breidablik cut the lead to 90-85 at the end of the game. Valur players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. They brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. American forward Urald King (198-90, college: SE Oklahoma) had a double-double by scoring 26 points, 13 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 blocks to lead the charge for the winners and naturalized American guard Austin Bracey (190-90) chipped in 27 points and 5 assists during the contest. American guard Tyrone Garland (185-92, college: La Salle) responded with 17 points, 7 rebounds, 9 assists and 5 steals and forward Egill Vignisson (198-91) scored 18 points and 8 rebounds. Four Breidablik players scored in double figures.
