There are only two more rounds left in the Regular Season in Superleague. Coincidentally all hosts won their games.

The game between Top Four teams took place in Limerick. Leader host UL Aughinish (15-0) defeated 3rd placed DCU Mercy (12-3) 81-68. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of DCU Mercy. UL Aughinish forced 19 DCU Mercy turnovers. It was a great evening for Aoife McDermott (185-91) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds. Canadian-British guard Rachel Vanderwal (176-83, college: Boston U.) helped adding 21 points and 4 assists. UL Aughinish's coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was swingman Lisa Palmer (186-86) with 13 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Undefeated UL Aughinish have an impressive series of fifteen victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 15-0 record. DCU Mercy at the other side keeps the third position with three games lost. UL Aughinish are looking forward to face Peugeot Meteors (#5) in Dublin in the next round. DCU Mercy will play at home against Ulster Rockets in Belfast and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
The game in Waterford was also worth to mention about. 6th ranked Ulster Rockets (6-9) played at the court of seventh ranked Waterford Wildcats (7-9). Waterford Wildcats managed to secure a 4-point victory 63-59. It was an exceptional evening for the former international center Niamh Mullally (180-84) who led the winners and scored 20 points and 8 rebounds. Cathy Kavanagh accounted for 21 points and 6 rebounds. Guard Mairead McNally (175-88, college: Stetson) came up with 21 points for Ulster Rockets in the defeat. The victory was the third consecutive win for Waterford Wildcats. They moved-up to sixth place. Newly promoted Ulster Rockets dropped to the seventh position with nine games lost. Waterford Wildcats will play against Singleton (#8) in Brunell in the next round. Ulster Rockets will play on the road against DCU Mercy in Dublin and hope to get back on the winning track.

At the other side the best for losing team was Anna Pupin who recorded 8 points and 7 rebounds. 11890 Killester maintains fourth place with 10-6 record. Liffey Celtics lost their thirteenth game in a row. Newly promoted team keep the ninth position with 15 games lost. They share it with Oblate Dynamos. 11890 Killester will meet at home higher ranked DCU Mercy (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Liffey Celtics' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Dublin Oblate Dynamos.

In the last two games of round 15 Meteors were destroyed by TM Hotel Cork on the opponent's court 84-55. Singleton managed to outperform Oblate Dynamos in a home game 44-40.

Killester - Liffey Celtics 80-39

Fourth ranked 11890 Killester (10-6) crushed at home 9th ranked Liffey Celtics (1-15) by 41 points 80-39, which is the biggest margin this round on Saturday night. 11890 Killester dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Liffey Celtics' 24. 11890 Killester forced 27 Liffey Celtics turnovers and outrebounded them 44-28 including 19 on the offensive glass. 11890 Killester looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by Liffey Celtics' players. The best player for the winners was guard Michelle Clarke (173-94) who scored 14 points. Center Louise Gray (175-88) chipped in 15 points and 5 steals. 11890 Killester's coach felt very confident using entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was Anna Pupin who recorded 8 points and 7 rebounds and Aine O'Connor added 9 points and 4 blocks respectively. 11890 Killester maintains fourth place with 10-6 record. Liffey Celtics lost their thirteenth game in a row. Newly promoted team keep the ninth position with 15 games lost. TM Hotel Cork - Meteors 84-55

Rather expected game when 5th ranked Peugeot Meteors (8-7) were crushed on the road by second ranked TM Hotel Cork (15-2) 84-55 on Saturday. TM Hotel Cork dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Peugeot Meteors' 28. TM Hotel Cork forced 30 Peugeot Meteors turnovers and outrebounded them 41-26 including a 24-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was the former international guard Niamh Dwyer (176-82, college: Monmouth) who scored 22 points and 6 rebounds. The former international guard Claire Rockall (178-90, college: Iowa St.) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds. Four TM Hotel Cork players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Rachel Fitzgerald (-89) who recorded a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds and guard Beth Meany (168-90) added 13 points and 8 steals respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. TM Hotel Cork maintains second place with 15-2 record having just -2 point less than leader UL Aughinish. Loser Peugeot Meteors keep the fifth position with seven games lost. TM Hotel Cork will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Peugeot Meteors will play against the league's leader UL Aughinish (#1) in Limerick and hope to secure a win.

Strangely Oblate Dynamos outrebounded Singleton 65-38 including a 32-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Danielle O'Leary who had a double-double by scoring 14 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists. Amy Waters chipped in 9 points and 12 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Tessa Solan (177-92) who recorded a double-double by scoring 11 points and 21 rebounds and Theresa Harrison added 6 points and 12 rebounds respectively. Newly promoted Singleton maintains eighth place with 3-12 record. Oblate Dynamos lost their eleventh game in a row. They dropped to the bottom position with 15 games lost. They share it with Liffey Celtics. Singleton will meet at home higher ranked Waterford Wildcats (#6) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Oblate Dynamos' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Dublin to the arena Liffey Celtics.
