The Regular Season in Superleague just started.

B.Gais Neptune - UL Eagles 72-74

Liepaja smashed bottom-ranked Estonian Valga at home 96-66. The hosts trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 12-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 96-66. Liepaja forced 27 Valga turnovers. Arturs Bricis (196-92) stepped up and scored 18 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners and guard Artis Ate (191-89) chipped in 14 points. Liepaja's coach Guntis Endzels felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side Nigerian-Russian center Aleksey Adediran (204-82, college: Binghamton) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds and swingman Veljo Vares (200-81) scored 14 points and 6 rebounds.

Ballon Inter shot 68.9 percent from the field. Strangely DCU Saints outrebounded Ballon Inter 36-24 including 24 on the defensive glass. It was a great shooting night for Ballon Inter especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 66.7 percentage. Lithuanian forward Mindaugas Tamusauskas (203-83) fired 26 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Lithuanian power forward Aurimas Statkus (201-81) chipped in 16 points and 6 rebounds. Guard Eoin Quill (198-81) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds and forward Patrick Glover (193-77) added 14 points respectively for lost side. DCU Saints' coach David Donnelly rotated ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

Swingman Salvis Metra (195-84) chipped in 19 points. Nigerian forward Ike Okoye (206, college: Boise St.) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds and American-Italian guard Marc Campbell (180-86, college: N.Carolina) added 17 points and 4 assists respectively for lost side.

UCC Demons managed to secure a 8-point victory 80-72. UCC Demons shot 22 for 31 from the free-throw line, while Moycullen only scored three points from the stripe. 24 personal fouls committed by Moycullen helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American forward Delwan Graham (200, college: Jacksonville, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) nailed a double-double by scoring 18 points and 14 rebounds for the winning side and the former international guard Shane Coughlan (188-79) accounted for 17 points and 9 assists. Four UCC Demons players scored in double figures. American forward Patrick Sullivan (201, college: Hamilton) came up with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds and guard Cian Nihill (193-88) added 15 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Moycullen in the defeat. Moycullen's coach Salvador Camps gave the chance to play for ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game.

There were just five rounds played in Regular Season of Super League and we can clearly see which teams will fight for top positions and which will try to avoid bottom places.
