The Regular Season in Superleague just started.

Waterford W. - Liffey Celtics 69-38

Waterford Wildcats dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Liffey Celtics' 36. Waterford Wildcats forced 21 Liffey Celtics turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international center Niamh Mullally (180-84) who helped to win the game recording 14 points and 6 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). The former international center Christine O'Gorman (178-90) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Four Waterford Wildcats players scored in double figures. Aine O'Connor answered with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds and Mary Hulgraine (-88) added 6 points in the effort for Liffey Celtics.

The had the game-high 9 points adding nine rebounds and fifteen assists for Killester in her team's victory, helping them to outclass NUIG Mystics (#7, 2-5) with 26-point margin 82-56. Coincidentally all hosts won their games. The most exciting game of round 8 in the Super League took place in Dublin. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of second-ranked Liffey Celtics (5-2) to eighth ranked Meteors (2-5) 56-53 on Saturday evening.
