Waterford Wildcats dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Liffey Celtics' 36. Waterford Wildcats forced 21 Liffey Celtics turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international center Niamh Mullally (180-84) who helped to win the game recording 14 points and 6 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). The former international center Christine O'Gorman (178-90) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Four Waterford Wildcats players scored in double figures.
