29-year old guard Rachel Vanderwal (176-G-83) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for second-ranked UL Aughinish and receives a Player of the Week award for round 3.
She had the game-high 28 points adding four rebounds and three assists for UL Aughinish in her team's victory, helping them to outclass, the league's bottom-ranked team Ulster Rockets (#8, 0-2) with 47-point margin 77-30. UL Aughinish is placed at 2nd position in Irish Superleague. They maintain perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but UL Aughinish already had a very good start winning all 3 without losing a single one. In the team's last game Vanderwal had a remarkable 56.3% from 2-point range. She has many years of experience at UL Aughinish, through which he has constantly improved. Boston University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Vanderwal is league's best scorer averaging so far 21.7ppg. Vanderwal is in league's top in and averages solid 3.0spg,52.6% FGP and 70.0% from behind 3-point line.

Second best performed player last round was Michelle Clarke (178-G-94) of Killester. She is a guard in her 4th season at Killester. In the last game Clarke recorded impressive 20 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Let's wait for the next round. Clarke is one of the most experienced players at Killester and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 13.7ppg (#7). She also registered 5.0 boards per game.

Their record at this point is 1 victories and 1 lost games. Waters has a great season in Ireland. After only 2 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 13.5rpg (#1 in league) and assists with 3.0apg (3rd best).

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
