The 18-year old player was the main contributor (21 points, six rebounds and four assists) to her team's victory, helping them to edge out Singleton (2-2) 75-74. Killester is placed at 4th position in Irish Superleague. Killester is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 2-2 record. In the team's last game Clarke had a remarkable five three-pointers out of 6 attempts. She has many years of experience at Killester, through which he has constantly improved. Michelle Clarke has solid league stats. She is in league's top in points (5th best: 15.5ppg), assists (7th best: 3.3apg) and averages impressive 1.5bpg,60.0% FGP and 62.5% from behind 3-point line.
The second best player in last round's games was 29-year old Canadian Rachel Vanderwal (176-G-83) of league's second-best UL Aughinish. Vanderwal had a very good evening with 25 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Of course she lead UL Aughinish to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Waterford W. (#7, 1-3) 85-45. UL Aughinish's second position in the standings has not changed. A very good start of the season for her team, which won so far all 4 games without any defeat. Vanderwal is one of the most experienced players at UL Aughinish and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 22.5ppg (#1). She also registered 5.3 boards per game.
Third on the list of top players last round was another UL Aughinish's star - former international center Michelle Fahy (183-C-82). Fahy scored 16 points and passed six assists. She was another key player of UL Aughinish, helping her team with a 85-45 easy win against the lower-ranked Waterford W. (#7, 1-3). UL Aughinish started extremely well this year. They recorded 4 victories without losing a single game. Fahy turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Fahy has a great season in Ireland. After only 4 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 3.5apg (6th best).

Embutidos Pajariel Bembibre PDM (LFB) re-signed 26-year old Irish international guard Orla O'Reilly (182-90, college: Binghamton, agency: Josep and Nicolas). She has played there for the last three seasons. In 20 LFB games she averaged 7.3ppg, 3.3rpg, 1.0apg and 1.3spg last season. O'Reilly's team made it to the LFB Semifinals in 2014.
