UL Aughinish's second position in the standings has not changed. A very good start of the season for her team, which won so far all 4 games without any defeat. Vanderwal is one of the most experienced players at UL Aughinish and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 22.5ppg (#1). She also registered 5.3 boards per game.
Third on the list of top players last round was another UL Aughinish's star - former international center Michelle Fahy (183-C-82). Fahy scored 16 points and passed six assists. She was another key player of UL Aughinish, helping her team with a 85-45 easy win against the lower-ranked Waterford W. (#7, 1-3). UL Aughinish started extremely well this year. They recorded 4 victories without losing a single game. Fahy turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Fahy has a great season in Ireland. After only 4 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 3.5apg (6th best).
