Loretta Maher had a very impressive game in the last round for league's second-best UL Aughinish and that's her to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 5. The -year old had a double-double of 22 points and eleven rebounds, while her team outclassed Ulster Rockets (#7, 1-4) with 43-point margin 76-33. UL Aughinish maintains the 2nd position in Irish Superleague. They maintain perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but UL Aughinish already had a very good start winning all 5 without losing a single one. It's Maher's second year at UL Aughinish and it's hard to imagine this team without her. Loretta Maher averages this season 10.8ppg and 6.0rpg.
The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 30-year old American forward Meagan Hoffman (183-F-82) of league's best team DCU Mercy. Hoffman impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 20 points and 13 rebounds. Of course she lead DCU Mercy to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Killester (#5, 2-3) 72-24. Of course DCU Mercy still keep the league's top spot. A very good start of the season for her team, which won so far all 5 games without any defeat. Hoffman is a newcomer at DCU Mercy and it seems she did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.
The third best performed player last round was another UL Aughinish's star - Aoife McDermott (185-91). McDermott scored 17 points and grabbed thirteen rebounds (!!!). She was another key player of UL Aughinish, helping her team with a 76-33 easy win against the lower-ranked Ulster Rockets (#7, 1-4). UL Aughinish started extremely well this year. They recorded 5 victories without losing a single game. McDermott turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. McDermott has a great season in Ireland. After only 5 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 7.4rpg (8th best).

We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy. The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
