Meteors Dublin travelled to Limerick to face the mighty University of Limerick Aughinish in what many expected to be a repeat of the mouth watering clash pre-season finals. However, with Meteors Dublin missing players, this was not going to be one that followed the script.

Notebook: University of Limerick Aughinish 85, Meteors Dublin 38

THE FACTS: Meteors Dublin produced one of their worst games of the season managing to shoot only 17% from the field. University of Limerick Aughinish maintain their winning streak and remain undefeated this year.

THE STAT: The Huskies dominated the glass the entire game which allowed them to control the tempo. UL finished with 45 Rebounds; Sarah McGorry (182-F, college: Lafayette) had 9, Aoife McDermott (185-91) and Loretta Maher both had 8 a piece.

HOT: Rachel Vanderwal (176-G-83, college: Boston U.) finished with a game high 30 points, shooting 50% from behind the arc and 100% from the charity line.

NOT: Meteors Dublin were off the pace completely as they were forced to take bad shots. They never got settled in the game and were always chasing the Huskies. Meteors Dublin finished with 9 - 53 from the field.
