Caroline
Stewart
American Caroline Stewart (182-F-90) had a great game in the last round for Ulster Rockets and that's her to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 14.
The 22-year old forward had a double-double of 22 points and fourteen rebounds, while her team crushed Singleton (#7, 4-9) with 16-point margin 76-60. Ulster Rockets maintains the 4th position in Irish Superleague. Ulster Rockets is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 7-6 record. Stewart turned to be Ulster Rockets' top player in her first season with the team. Caroline Stewart averages just after three games 17.0ppg and 7.7rpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was -year old American guard Terran Condrey (170-G) of Waterford W.. Condrey impressed basketball fans with 29 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. It was enough for Waterford W. to edge slightly higher-ranked Ulster Rockets (#4, 7-6) by 3 points 66-63. Waterford W.'s 5th position in the standings has not changed. Her team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 6-7 record. Condrey is a newcomer at Waterford W. and it seems she did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was another Ulster Rockets' star - Noleen Lennon. Lennon scored 15 points and grabbed thirteen rebounds (!!!). She was another key player of Ulster Rockets, helping her team with a 76-60 easy win against the lower-ranked Singleton (#7, 4-9). Ulster Rockets needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 7 victories and 6 lost games. Lennon has a very solid season. In 5 games in Ireland she scored 8.6ppg.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Indira Kaljo (178-G-87) of Meteors - 23 points and 5 rebounds
5. Rachel Vanderwal (176-G-83) of UL Aughinish - 16 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists
6. Niamh Dwyer (176-G-82) of TM Hotel Cork - 23 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists
7. Ailbhe O'Connor) of Liffey Celtics - 14 points and 10 rebounds
8. Caroline Stewart (182-F-90) of Ulster Rockets - 13 points and 13 rebounds
9. Niamh Mullally (180-C-84) of Waterford W. - 12 points and 15 rebounds
10. Susanne Maguire (183-F-75) of DCU Mercy - 15 points and 12 rebounds

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
