Virtus Bolgna is very close to completing the team's roster with its final piece, Targeting Duke Blue Devils leader to an NCAA championship last April, Jon Scheyer (196-G-87, agency: Priority Sports). Scheyer, a born leader, played under one of the best coaches in the history of basketball, (coach Mike Krzyzewski) who taught him all four years in college while averaging last season, 18 points, 3.6 rebounds and 4.9 assists. This solution is by far the best offer on the table for Scheyer from coach Lino Lardo, which saw the player during the Summer League in Las Vegas, where Scheyer was playing with the Miami Heat. The former Blue Devils was determined to get an NBA contract But the Miami Heat's roster is pretty full. After Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh and Lebron James the Heat also confirmed with PG's Carlos Arroyo and Mario Chalmers. This situation doesnt leave Scheyer much time to play with and he will be forced to play with the minimum wage salary and few opportunities of play. Scheyer, a Jew, as known is also wanted by Maccabi Tel Aviv, with the possibility of acquiring an Israeli passport thanks to some relatives, but lately it seems interest dropped do to coach David Blatt signing Mikhail Torrance (196-G-88, college: Alabama).
