According to the Israeli Basketball League Association, nearly 15,000 collected fan votes determined the 2011-12 Israeli All-Star rosters, taking place in the Southern port city of Ashkelon, on March 8th.

Due to the fact that Israel's top league is formed of 11 teams, two 'wildcards' were giving to each squad, completing a 12-man roster. Last season, in the league's first All-Star event ever, team Israel beat team Foreigners 122-117.

Team Foreigner: 1st round MVP Bryant Dunston, Richard Hendrix, Brian Randle, Courtney Fells, Tweety Carter, Jermaine Jackson, Dwayne Mitchell, Derwin Kitchen, Adrian Banks, Josh Duncan and Paul Delaney. The 'wildcard' went to Ashkelon's Marco Killingsworth.

Team Israel: Yuval Naimy, Ido Kozikaro, Isaac Rosefelt, Sylven Landesberg, Raviv Limonad, Lior Eliyahu, Nitzan Hanochi, Moran Roth, Meir Tapiro, Yehu Orland and Ezequiel Skverer. The 'wildcard' was given to Hapoel Jerusalem's Elishay Kadir.

Important to note that several league players and representatives were surprised when a number of key players were left undrafted. Galil/Gilboa's drafted swingman Courtney Fells expressed his disappointment of being selected over standout teammate Romeo Travis, telling Eurobasket he's not looking to participate in the event, but to forward his elected spot to a well deserved Travis.

Unexpectedly, the league's fourth leading scorer and Maccabi Rishon's Joe Crawford also went undrafted, as did star Israeli PG Yogev Ohayon, sharpshooter David Blu, Jerusalem's dominant D.J. Strawberry and Netanya's 'hired gun', Brian Asbury.

The league is yet to announce the four participators in each the 3-point shootout competition and the Dunk contest, however, Eurobasket was tipped that Paul Delaney, Adrian Banks, Alex Tyus and Roi Buchbinder should be competing.
