Charel Allen pens deal with Elitzur Netanya for 2012/2013 season. The American Guard moves from Bulgaria.
Last year the winner of the Cup of Bulgaria in 2011 Dunav 8806 managed to re-sign a fan favorite American Charel Allen. In Bulgaria she spent three years. In 2010-2011 she was Dunav's undisputed best player with 16.1 ppg, 6.3 rpg and 2.2 apg in 33 games. She helped the team win the national Cup, as well as the bronze medals in the play-offs.
In 2011-2012 for Dunav Ruse (Bulgaria-NBL, starting five) she showed 15.5ppg, 5.7rpg, 2.9apg, Steals-5 (1.7spg), FGP: 48.8%, 3PT-3 (45.7%), FT: 83.7%.
Earlier Charel Allen played for Sacramento Monarchs (WNBA) and in Regular Season averaged 2.7ppg. In 2008-2009 moved to Ceyhan Belediyespor (Turkey-TBBL, starting five) and had 8.5ppg, 4.5rpg, 1.0apg, 1.0spg, 2FGP: 47.9%, 3PT: 39.0%, FT: 69.2%. She is a product of Notre Dame.
