After Maccabi Haifa won Megiddo 114-74, they got the 16th spot of the National Cup 1/8 finals.

The 1/8 finals games will taken place on the 16th of Dec (16.12.12), the resutls of the draw:

Nahariya (2nd league)- Jerusalem.

Kfar Saba (2nd league)- Be'er Yaakov (2nd league).

Maccabi Tel Aviv- Ashkelon.

Maccabi Haifa- Maccabi Rishon.

Bnei Hertzeliyya signs Singer just out of college - 10 hours ago
Bnei Hertzeliyya (Winner League) agreed terms with 22-year old American guard Sam Singer (193-93kg-95). He just graduated from California (NCAA). Singer has played there for the last four years. In 33 games he had 4.5ppg, 3.0rpg and 1.9apg last season. Singer helped them to make it to the semifinals. Quite impressive season as he was named to All-Pac-12 All-Academic Honorable Mention. Defending champion Hapoel Jerusalem (Winner League) will be led by 50-year old Greek coach Fotis Katsikaris (agency: Stanislav Ryzhov). He coached most recently at UCAM Murcia in Spanish Liga Endesa. Katsikaris also coached for Lokomotiv (VTB) in Russian league that season. The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his team made it to the Spanish ACB Supercup Final Four in 2012. Hapoel Beer Sheva (National League) added to their roster 24-year old point guard Adi Cohen (178-93) from Hapoel Kfar Saba/Kohav Yair. In 32 National League games he recorded 12.4ppg, 3.8rpg, 5.8apg (top 3) and 1.7spg last season. He helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in the league.
