It's still too early stage of the Regular Season in Winner League, but even now we can clearly see the differece between stronger teams and outsiders. There were many interesting games last round. Undefeated Maccabi Rishon (3-1) recorded its first loss in Rishon Le-Zion on Monday night. Hosts were defeated by sixth ranked Hapoel Tel-Aviv (3-1) 80-63. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Maccabi Rishon. The game was mostly controlled by Hapoel Tel-Aviv. Maccabi Rishon managed to win fourth quarter 26-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Maccabi Rishon to just 6 points in first quarter. Hapoel Tel-Aviv dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Maccabi Rishon's 42. The game was dominated by American players. point guard Demontez Stitt (186-89, college: Clemson) fired 19 points for the winners. Power forward Jeff Allen (201-87, college: Virginia Tech) chipped in 12 points and 9 rebounds. point guard Lazeric Jones (182-90, college: UCLA) produced 16 points and 5 assists for lost side. Another exciting game was between fifth ranked Maccabi T-A and 7th ranked Maccabi Haifa where Maccabi T-A (3-1) crushed Maccabi Haifa (2-2) on the road with 20-point difference 87-67.
