We bring you last week's top performances from Israelis who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.

Yuval Naimy
Yuval Naimy
#1. This week's number one is an international point guard Yuval Naimy (188-85, currently plays in Eurocup). He was the major contributor in a Triumph Lyubertsy's victory against the closely-ranked Le Mans (1-1) 76-71 in the Eurocup in Wednesday night's game. Naimy recorded 17 points in 24 minutes on the court. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Triumph Lyubertsy (2-0) is placed first in the Eurocup. There are only four games left until the end of the Eurocup Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Naimy has relatively good stats this year: 12.5ppg, 3.5rpg, 2.0apg, 2FGP: 37.5%, 3FGP: 46.2%(6-13) in the two games he played so far. He is currently a member of the Israeli senior national team.

Omri Casspi
Omri Casspi
#2. Second place goes to an international small forward Omri Casspi (204-88, currently plays in NBA), who plays in the NBA. Casspi could not help the Cleveland Cavaliers (2-6) to beat the Oklahoma City Thunder (6-3). He recorded 7 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. The Cleveland Cavaliers were defeated 106-91 on the road by the Thunder. It was Cavaliers' fourth consecutive loss in a row. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. This year Casspi averages: 2.8ppg, 2.3rpg, 3FGP: 28.6% and FT: 62.5%. He is in the roster of the Israeli senior national team.

#4. Center Robert Rothbart (217-86, agency: INVICTUS Sports Group, currently plays in Poland), who plays in the Polish TBL was not able to help Start Gdynia (1-6) in their last game on Thursday. Despite Rothbart's very good performance the bottom-ranked Start Gdynia was defeated 66-55 in Zgorzelec by the second-ranked PGE Turow. He was the top scorer with 20 points. Rothbart also added 9 rebounds and 2 blocks. But the season just started, so everything may happen. Rothbart belongs to league's best blockers and is ranked #5. He has very reliable stats this season: 14.2ppg, 6.7rpg, 1.3bpg and 1.5spg. Rothbart has a dual citizenship: Bosnia and Herzegovina and Israeli. He is also Israeli national team player.

It's Halperin's first year with the team. This season his total stats are: 8.0ppg, 2.1rpg, 2.8apg and 1.5spg in the eight games. Halperin plays currently for the Israeli national team.

Kreisberg has averaged so far 7.5ppg, 2.0rpg and 5.3apg in the four games. He is a naturalized American. Kreisberg is U20 international player as he played for the Israeli team one years ago. Strangely he has never played in Israel.

He recorded 8 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals. Boras Basket (8-2) is placed first in the Basketligan. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. But there are still lots of games to play and it's a long way to go. This season Thomas has relatively solid stats: 10.3ppg, 7.1rpg and 2.3apg. He is a naturalized American. Thomas used to play for Ironi Kfar Hamaccabia Ramat Gan in Israeli league.
