Keith Ramsey
American forward Keith Ramsey (205-F-87) had a very impressive game in the last round for top-ranked Ironi Ramat Gan, receiving a Eurobasket.com National League Player of the Week award for round 5.
The 25-year old player had a double-double of 20 points and 10 rebounds, while his team crushed Hapoel K/S (#13, 1-4) with 21-point margin 78-57. It allowed Ironi Ramat Gan to take over top position in the Israeli National League. Ironi Ramat Gan have a solid 4-1 record. Ramsey turned to be Ironi Ramat Gan's top player in his first season with the team. Former University of Missouri star has very solid stats this year. Ramsey is in league's top in rebounds (2nd best: 13.4rpg) and averages impressive 2.2spg and 62.7% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was 26-year old American Bilal Benn (196-G/F-86) of Ironi Nes-Ziona. Benn had a very good evening with a double-double of 27 points and 16 rebounds. It was enough for Ironi Nes-Ziona to edge the lower-ranked Kiryat Tivon (#11, 1-4) 83-81. This victory allowed Ironi Nes-Ziona to move up to 5th position in the standings. His team lost just one game this season, while they won 4 matches. Benn is well-known at Ironi Nes-Ziona and is a proven leader in his second season with the team. Former Niagara University star Benn is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.

Third on the list of top players last round was American forward Gary Johnson (198-F-88) of Hapoel Kazrin (#7). Johnson scored 27 points and grabbed eight rebounds. He was a key player of Hapoel Kazrin, leading his team to a 98-74 easy win against slightly lower-ranked Elitzur Ramla (#9, 2-3). Hapoel Kazrin needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 3 victories and 2 lost games. Johnson has a great season in Israel. After only 5 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 23.0ppg (best scorer) and rebounds with 10.2rpg (7th best).

The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
