Gray-Lawson
American point guard Alexis Gray-Lawson (173-PG-87) had a great game in the last round for second-ranked Ramat Hasharon, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 4.
The 25-year old player had a double-double of 24 points and 13 rebounds, while her team beat H.R. Le-Zion (#8, 0-3), the league's bottom-ranked team 66-60. Ramat Hasharon is placed at 2nd position in Israeli D1. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Ramat Hasharon will need more victories to improve their 2-1 record. Gray-Lawson turned to be Ramat Hasharon's top player in her first season with the team. Alexis Gray-Lawson averages just after two games 22.0ppg and 9.5rpg.

The second best player in last round's games was 27-year old Jamaican Vanessa Gidden (193-C/F-85, agency: Ronsport) of Hap.Petah Tikva. Gidden had a very good evening with a double-double of 16 points and 14 rebounds. Of course Hap.Petah Tikva cruised to a 83-75 relatively comfortable win over slightly lower-ranked Elitzur Netanya (#6, 1-1). This victory allowed Hap.Petah Tikva to move up to 4th position in the standings. Her team's 2-1 record is not bad at all. Gidden is a newcomer at Hap.Petah Tikva, but is already one of team's top players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.0ppg (#5). She also registered 13.3 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was American forward Danielle Adams (185-F/C-89) of league's top team Maccabi Ashdod. Adams scored 26 points and grabbed six rebounds. She was a key player of Maccabi Ashdod, leading her team to a 87-69 easy win against the lower-ranked Elitzur Ramla (#7, 1-2). Maccabi Ashdod started extremely well this year. They recorded 4 victories without losing a single game. Adams turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Adams has a great season in Israel. After only 3 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 17.3ppg (9th best).

The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
