Elitzur Netanya made two changes to its roster, Yarden Gutt requested to leave and accepted a permission to do that. Gutt will return to Hapoel Galil-Elyon, the team that she played for last season and helped it to advance to the premier league. Karin Agassi (172-G/F-88) from Ramat Hasharon joined the team instead of Gutt, Agassi played only few minutes for S.A Ramat Hasharon this season. Agassi played last season 19 games for Bnot Hasharon and posted averages of: 5.2 points, 1.7 rebounds, one assist and 0.7 steals in 24.2 minutes per game.

American Imani Boyette (201-C-94) put on an amazing game in the last round for Bnot Hertzeliya and that's her to receive a Player of the Week award for round 17. The 22-year old center had a double-double of 18 points and seventeen rebounds, while her team crushed Hap.Petah Tikva (#8, 4-11) with 25-point margin 83-58. D1 Round 17: Maccabi Ashdod beat Ramat Hasharon in the most crucial game of the week - 4 days ago
An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Ashdod. Second ranked Maccabi Ashdod faced 4th placed Ramat Hasharon. Host Maccabi Ashdod (13-2) defeated guests from Hasharon (7-7) 77-70. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Ramat Hasharon. Maccabi Ashdod forced 19 Ramat Hasharon turnovers. The game was dominated by American players. Jackson is back at GDESSA/Barreiro, ex Maccabi Raanana - 10 days ago
GDESSA/Barreiro (Liga Feminina) agreed terms with 25-year old American forward Kamilah Jackson (180-92, college: Hawaii). It is actually her comeback to Barreiro as she has played here before. Jackson supposed to play at Maccabi Raanana in Israeli D1 league, but was released by the team in Dec.'16. In 5 games she had 10.6ppg and 10.0rpg this season.
