Shay Doron
#1. This week's number one is an international shooting guard Shay Doron (175-85, college: Maryland, currently plays in Euroleague), who plays in Turkey. She could not help Tarsus Bld (1-5) in their last game. Despite Doron's very good performance the sixth-placed Tarsus Bld was edged 74-73 on the road by the higher-ranked (#4) Wisla Can-Pak in the group A of Euroleague. She was the top scorer with 22 points. Doron also added 6 rebounds in 33 minutes on the court. Doron is ranked seventh on the list of the best passers in the league with 4.8apg. She also averaged so far 13.0ppg, 2.8rpg, 1.8spg, 2FGP: 67.9%(19-28), 3FGP: 33.3% and FT: 57.1% in the four games she played so far. Ex-Elitzur Ramla player is currently a member of the Israeli senior national team.

Goldbet Taranto (5-2) is placed fourth in the A1. It's Cohen's first season with the team. She has relatively good stats this year: 11.7ppg, 2.3rpg, 1.9apg, 2FGP: 52.6%, 3FGP: 51.6%(16-31) and FT: 87.5%. Cohen is in the roster of the Israeli senior national team.
