#1. This week's number one is an international point guard Yuval Naimy (188-85, currently plays in Eurocup). He led his Russian team Triumph Lyubertsy to an overtime victory over the closely-ranked Artland Dragons 95-94 in the Eurocup in Wednesday night's game.
Naimy was MVP of the game. He scored 26 points (!!!) and added 6 passes in 35 minutes on the court.
Triumph Lyubertsyis placed fourth in group I.
It's Naimy's first season with the team.
Naimy has relatively good stats this year: 11.2ppg, 2.0rpg, 2.5apg, 2FGP: 36.0%, 3FGP: 46.9%(15-32) in the six games he played so far.
He is currently a member of the Israeli senior national team.
#2. Second place goes to an international center Alex Tyus (205-88, college: Florida, currently plays in Italy). Tyus contributed to an easy victory against the 14th-ranked Angelico Biella (3-8) crushing them 85-62 in the Italian SerieA last Sunday.
He scored 8 points and grabbed 9 rebounds.
Mapooro Cantu (7-4) is placed fourth in the SerieA.
This season Tyus averages: 9.2ppg, 4.6rpg, 2FGP: 72.4%(42-58) and FT: 54.8%.
He is a naturalized American.
Tyus is in the roster of the Israeli senior national team. He used to play for Maccabi Ashdod in Israeli league.
#3. The Israeli player who performed third best last week abroad was former U20 international guard Oded Brandwein (186-88, agency: N.E.T., currently plays in Poland). Brandwein led Energa Czarni to a victory against the eighth-ranked Kotwica (3-8) 80-76 in the Polish TBL on Sunday night.
He scored 11 points and added 5 assists in 30 minutes.
Energa Czarni Slupsk (8-4) is placed third in the TBL.
This year Brandwein's overall stats are: 5.0ppg, 1.8apg, 2FGP: 34.8%, 3FGP: 31.6% and FT: 91.7% in the nine games.
He has a dual citizenship: Israeli and Polish.
Former Elitzur Yavne starter played for the Israeli U20 national team four years ago.
#4. Small forward Omri Casspi (204-88, currently plays in NBA), who plays in the NBA could not help the Cleveland Cavaliers (5-18) to beat the Minnesota Timberwolves (10-9).
Casspi scored 5 points and grabbed 4 rebounds.
The Cleveland Cavaliers were badly defeated 91-73 on the road by the Timberwolves.
But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen.
Casspi's total stats this year are: 5.2ppg and 2.6rpg.
He is also Israeli national team player.
#5. International center Robert Rothbart (217-86, agency: INVICTUS Sports Group, currently plays in Poland), who plays in the Polish TBL was not able to help one of league's weakest teams Start Gdynia (3-8) in their last game. Despite Rothbart's very good performance Start Gdynia lost 58-66 in Tarnobrzeg to the higher-ranked (#10) Siarka Jezioro.
He was the top scorer with 15 points. Rothbart also added 7 rebounds in 21 minutes.
Rothbart is ranked fourth on the list of the best blockers in the league with 1.2bpg.
This year he also averages: 14.0ppg, 7.3rpg and 1.2spg in the 10 games.
Rothbart is another player who holds two passports: Bosnia and Herzegovina and Israeli.
He plays currently for the Israeli national team.
#6. Shooting guard Yotam Halperin (193-84, currently plays in Germany) contributed to a Bayern Muenchen's victory against the closely-ranked Telekom Baskets (5-6) 104-91 in the German BBL last Sunday.
Halperin scored 7 points, had 4 boards, dished 6 assists and stole 3 balls.
FC Bayern Muenchen (6-6) is placed seventh in the BBL.
They ended the series of three consecutive loses.

Despite Kreisberg's good performance the Yale lost 56-64 in Durham, NH to the University of New Hampshire.
He scored 14 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 27 minutes.

He recorded 11 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists.
This season Thomas has relatively solid stats: 11.7ppg, 7.1rpg, 2.2apg and 1.1spg.
He is a naturalized American.
Thomas used to play for Ironi Kfar Hamaccabia Ramat Gan in Israeli league.
#2.Haran Shifman (183-G-84, currently plays in Poland) was the major contributor in Polonia's victory against the fifth-ranked MOSiR Krosno (8-5) 95-79 in the Polish 1Liga (second division) in Wednesday night's game.
Shifman scored 18 points and added 7 passes in 27 minutes.
MKS Budimpex Polonia Przemysl (6-7) is placed tenth in the 1Liga.
This year Shifman's total stats are: 9.2ppg, 1.7rpg and 4.4apg in the nine games he played so far.
He has a dual citizenship: Israeli and Polish.
Worth to mention he played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.
#3.Guy Aud (188-G-89, currently plays in Germany) was not able to help Finke Baskets (6-7) in their game against BG Goettingen (5-5) in the German ProA (second division).

Finke Baskets was defeated 85-80 at home by the higher-ranked BG Goettingen (#7).

And here thanks to pro basketball Milbourne experienced life in four different countries playing on three different continents. He is familiar with European, Latin American and of course North American leagues. Milbourne has played previously professionally in France (Limoges CSP Elite and SO Maritime Boulogne), Greece (Panionios), Italy (Giorgio Tesi Group Pistoia) and Spain (Gipuzkoa). Hes returned to Israel in January and signed with Hapoel Holon (Winner League) until end of the season with an option for another year. Ariel helped the club survive in the league after a tough battle in end of the season, it was very hard season for Ariel and for the team. Previous season (14-15) Ariel was part of Hapoel Jerusalem (Winner league) they won the first Israeli championship in Team history! in 27 games he averaged 3.4 ppg, 1.6 rpg, 0.6 apg and 0.3 spg.
