National League round 10 most important game was a victory of Elitzur Yavne over 5th ranked Ironi Ramat Gan 76-75 on Tuesday night. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Ironi Ramat Gan. The guests trailed by 5 points after three quarters before their 22-16 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Elitzur Yavne forced 20 Ironi Ramat Gan turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Monta McGhee (198-79, college: Lewis, agency: I.D.S. Law) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 9 rebounds. Naturalized Ukrainian power forward Igor Nesterenko (201-90) contributed with 15 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. The former international power forward Amit Tamir (208-79, college: California) replied with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds for Ironi Ramat Gan. Elitzur Yavne maintains fourth position with 7-3 record, which they share with Ironi Nahariya. Ironi Ramat Gan at the other side dropped to the sixth place with four games lost. They share the position with Ironi K-A. Elitzur Yavne is looking forward to face Beer Yaakov (#10) at home in the next round where they are favorite. They share the position with Hapoel Kazrin and Macc.B.Yaakov. Ironi Nes-Ziona will play against Hod Hasharon (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Hapoel Kfar Saba will play against Maccabi Kiryat Bialik (#14) and hopes to get back on the winning track.

Ironi Nahariya will meet Ironi Kiryat Ata (#6) on the road in the next round. Elitzur Ramla will play against Maccabi K/G (#11) in Kiryat Gat and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Allen Durham fired a double-double by scoring 31 points, 17 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Hapoel Afula's coach Avner Yeor allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Hapoel Afula have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 8-2 record behind leader Ironi Nes-Ziona, which they share with Hod Hasharon. Maccabi Kiryat Bialik lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom place with nine games lost. Hapoel Afula's next round opponent will be Kiryat Tivon (#13) in Kiryat Tivon which should be another easy win for them. Maccabi Kiryat Bialik will play at home against Hapoel Kfar Saba.

No shocking result in a game when third ranked Hod Hasharon (8-2) beat at home 6th ranked Ironi Kiryat Ata (6-4) 79-65. The game was mostly controlled by Hod Hasharon. Ironi Kiryat Ata was better in fourth quarter 19-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Hod Hasharon forced 19 Ironi Kiryat Ata turnovers. Swingman Eran Asante Asare (194-88, agency: Gross Zeev ISA) fired 18 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Nigerian power forward Chukwudinma Odiakosa (203-85, college: Illinois St., agency: N.E.T.) chipped in 12 points and 9 rebounds. Five Hod Hasharon players scored in double figures.
