National League round 10 most important game was a victory of Elitzur Yavne over 5th ranked Ironi Ramat Gan 76-75 on Tuesday night. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Ironi Ramat Gan. The guests trailed by 5 points after three quarters before their 22-16 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Elitzur Yavne forced 20 Ironi Ramat Gan turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Monta McGhee (198-79, college: Lewis, agency: I.D.S. Law) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 9 rebounds. Naturalized Ukrainian power forward Igor Nesterenko (201-90) contributed with 15 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. The former international power forward Amit Tamir (208-79, college: California) replied with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds for Ironi Ramat Gan. Elitzur Yavne maintains fourth position with 7-3 record, which they share with Ironi Nahariya. Ironi Ramat Gan at the other side dropped to the sixth place with four games lost. They dropped to the bottom place with nine games lost. Hapoel Afula's next round opponent will be Kiryat Tivon (#13) in Kiryat Tivon which should be another easy win for them. Eighth-ranked Hapoel Kfar Saba (4-6) used its home court advantage to challenge first ranked Ironi Nes-Ziona (9-1). The visitors from Nes Ziyona managed to secure only one-point victory 85-84. Benn is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the losing side American forward Adam Constantine (206-88, college: Elon) responded with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 12 rebounds and forward Eitan Rotemberg (197-91) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Ironi Nes-Ziona have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 9-1 record. Hapoel Kfar Saba at the other side keeps the eighth place with six games lost. They share the position with Hapoel Kazrin and Macc.B.Yaakov. Ironi Nes-Ziona will play against Hod Hasharon (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Kiryat Tivon was better in fourth quarter 23-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Beer Yaakov forced 21 Kiryat Tivon turnovers. Strangely Kiryat Tivon outrebounded Beer Yaakov 37-25 including a 18-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. American swingman Brian Laing (195-85, college: Seton Hall, agency: I.D.S.
