Alex Tyus
Alex Tyus
#1. This week's number one is an international center Alex Tyus (205-88, college: Florida, currently plays in Italy). He led Cantu to an easy victory against the 13th-ranked Sutor Montegranaro (3-9) crushing them 100-79 in the Italian SerieA in Sunday night's game. Tyus scored 19 points, had 7 rebounds and made 2 blocks in a mere 16 minutes on the court; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his second season in pro basketball. Mapooro Cantu (8-4) is placed fourth in the SerieA. It's Tyus' first year with the team. This season Tyus averages: 10.0ppg, 4.8rpg, 1.1bpg, 2FGP: 72.1%(49-68) and FT: 61.1% in the 12 games he played so far. He is a naturalized American. Oded Brandwein
Oded Brandwein
#2. Second place goes to former U20 international guard Oded Brandwein (186-88, agency: N.E.T., currently plays in Poland), who plays in the Polish TBL. Brandwein could not help Energa Czarni (8-6) in their last game on Sunday. Despite his very good performance Energa Czarni was defeated 104-94 on the road by the leading PGE Turow. Brandwein was the top scorer with 31 points. He also added 7 assists. Brandwein's overall stats this season are: 8.5ppg, 2.9apg, 2FGP: 38.2% and FT: 81.6%. He has a dual citizenship: Israeli and Polish. Former Elitzur Yavne starter played for the Israeli U20 national team in 2008.

Robert Rothbart
Robert Rothbart
#4. Center Robert Rothbart (217-86, agency: INVICTUS Sports Group, currently plays in Poland) was not able to help Start Gdynia (4-9) in their game against Trefl Sopot (9-4) in the Polish TBL. He recorded 7 points, 5 rebounds and 2 blocks. Start Gdynia was crushed 95-56 at home by the second-ranked Trefl Sopot. Rothbart has relatively good stats this season: 13.0ppg, 7.1rpg, 1.2bpg and 1.1spg. He is another player who holds two passports: Bosnia and Herzegovina and Israeli. The list of other players, who all have Israeli passport but never been selected to any of Israeli national teams:

Thomas scored 11 points, had 7 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 26 minutes. Boras Basket (13-5) is placed third in the Basketligan. Thomas has relatively good stats this year: 12.4ppg, 6.9rpg, 2.2apg and 1.1spg in the 18 games he played so far. He is a naturalized American. Thomas used to play for Ironi Kfar Hamaccabia Ramat Gan in Israeli league.

#2. Guy Aud (188-G-89, currently plays in Germany), who plays in the German ProA (second division) could not help one of league's weakest teams Finke Baskets (6-9) to beat NBC (6-9).
