24-year old American guard Tiffany Hayes (177-89, college: Connecticut) left Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion (D1). In 10 games she played this season she was seventh best scorer with impressive 18.7ppg and had 5.5rpg, 3.3apg and 2.7spg (in top 4).
The last season Hayes played at the University of Connecticut in Big East Conference in the NCAA. In 38 games last year she recorded 14.7ppg, 5.8rpg, 3.3apg and 2.3spg. She helped them to win Big East Conf. Tournament and end the regular season as the second best team in the conference. A very good season in her career as she was voted to All-Big East 1st Team, Associated Press NCAA All-America 3rd Team and WNBA All-Rookie Team.
Last year Hayes was drafted by Washington Mystics (WNBA) in second round (14th overall).
She attended University of Connecticut until 2012 and it is her first season in pro basketball.
Among other achievements Hayes won NCAA championship title for two years in a row (2009 and 2010). She represented USA at the World University Games in Belgrade (Serbia) four years ago. Hayes team won Gold and her stats at that event were 7 games: 8.3ppg, 2.9rpg, 1.9apg, 1.7spg, FGP: 40.7%, 3PT: 38.1%, FT: 60.0%.
Hayes has played also professionally in WNBA (Atlanta Dream).

Nigerian-American Atonye Nyingifa (180-PF-90) had a very impressive game in the last round for Elitzur Holon and that's her to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 5 (Second Stage).
