The game between Top Four teams took place in Ramat Hen. One of their biggest challengers host Maccabi Ramat Hen (6-6) lost to second ranked Elitzur Ramla (8-5) 68-63. Americans were the main players on the court. Center Kaayla Chones (191-81, college: N.Carolina St.) had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Allison Hightower (178-88, college: LSU, agency: Josep and Nicolas) chipped in 14 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists during the contest. Center Jenna Smith (191-88, college: Illinois) responded with 18 points and 7 rebounds. Elitzur Ramla maintains second position with 8-5 record having five points less than leader Maccabi Ashdod. Maccabi Ramat Hen at the other side keeps the third place with six games lost. They share the position with Ramat Hasharon. Elitzur Ramla are looking forward to face Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion (#8) at home in the next round where they are favorite. Maccabi Ramat Hen will play against Elitzur Netanya (#9) and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
Bottom-ranked Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion managed to get the second consecutive victory. This time they won against seventh-ranked Elitzur Holon 76-60. It's especially surprising that the victory came too easily and 16-point difference suggests that Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion is in a good shape to leave the bottom place. Americans were the main players on the court also this time. Center Jessica Lawson (191-86, college: S.Florida) notched 16 points and 8 rebounds to lead the effort and Shey Peddy supported her with 20 points. Even 22 points and 6 rebounds by forward Avery Warley (190-87, college: Liberty) did not help to save the game for Elitzur Holon. Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion (4-8) moved-up to eighth place. Elitzur Holon at the other side keeps the seventh position with eight games lost. Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion will play against league's second-placed Elitzur Ramla on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Elitzur Holon will play against Ramat Hasharon (#3) and hopes to get back on the winning track.

The best player for the winners was Danielle Adams who had a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds. Courtney Hurt produced a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds for the guests. Undefeated Maccabi Ashdod have an impressive 12-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 13-0 record. Elitzur Netanya lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom place with nine games lost. Maccabi Ashdod will meet Galil Elion (#6) in the next round where they are favorite. Elitzur Netanya will play against Maccabi Ramat Hen and hope to secure a win.

Hap.Petah Tikva - Galil Elion 91-73

The game in Petah Tikva was also worth to mention about. 5th ranked Galil Elion (5-7) played at the court of sixth ranked Hap.Petah Tikva (6-7). Hap.Petah Tikva did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 91-73. The game without a history. Hap.Petah Tikva led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Hap.Petah Tikva outrebounded Galil Elion 44-32 including 32 on the defensive glass. They shot the lights out from three nailing 12 long-distance shots on high 63.2 percentage. Hap.Petah Tikva players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. The game was also dominated by American players. Guard Rebekah Gardner (185-90, college: UCLA) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 31 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. point guard Porsche Poole (172-89, college: Michigan St.) contributed with 23 points and 9 assists for the winners. Forward Adaora Elonu (185-90, college: Texas A&M, agency: Ronsport) replied with 17 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Sydney Carter (167-90, college: Texas A&M, agency: Ronsport) added 16 points and 7 assists in the effort for Galil Elion. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Elitzur Netanya won third quarter 18-14. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Maccabi Ashdod made 22-of-25 free shots (88.0 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The game was dominated by American players.
