Adams
23-year old power forward Danielle Adams (185-F/C-89) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's best team Maccabi Ashdod and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 16.
She had a double-double of 30 points and 11 rebounds, while her team outclassed Hap.Petah Tikva (#5, 6-8) with 30-point margin 72-42. It allowed Maccabi Ashdod to consolidate first place in the Israeli D1. They maintain perfect record without any lost game in the league. It's already very far into the season and Maccabi Ashdod keeps perfect 15 -0 record. In the team's last game Adams had a remarkable 100.0% from 2-point range. She turned to be Maccabi Ashdod's top player in her first season with the team. Danielle Adams averages this season 16.1ppg and 7.4rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Tamara James (178-G/F-84) of league's second-best Elitzur Ramla. She is American swingman in her first season at Elitzur Ramla. In the last game James recorded impressive 25 points, 4 rebounds and 6 assists. Of course she lead Elitzur Ramla to another comfortable win 69-54 over slightly lower-ranked Ramat Hasharon (#4, 6-8) being unquestionably team leader. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Elitzur Ramla consolidated its place in top 2 of the standings. Her team's 10-5 record is not bad at all. James is a newcomer at Elitzur Ramla and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to center Jenna Smith (191-C-88) of Maccabi R.Hen (#3). Smith scored 20 points and grabbed eleven rebounds (!!!). She was a key player of Maccabi R.Hen, leading her team to a 71-57 easy win against the lower-ranked Galil Elion (#8, 5-9). Maccabi R.Hen needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 7 victories and 7 lost games. Smith has a great season in Israel. After 14 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 8.9rpg (6th best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Jessica Lawson (191-C-86) of H.R. Le-Zion - 18 points and 14 rebounds
5. Christine Flores (190-F-90) of Galil Elion - 17 points and 13 rebounds
6. Shey Peddy (170-PG-88) of H.R. Le-Zion - 20 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists
7. Karima Christmas (182-G/F-89) of Maccabi R.Hen - 13 points and 13 rebounds
8. Allison Hightower (178-G-88) of Elitzur Ramla - 12 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists
9. Ashley Shields (180-SG-85) of Maccabi Ashdod - 13 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists
10. Brittany Denson (192-C-87) of Maccabi Ashdod - 7 points, 10 rebounds and 3 assists

The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
