Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top performances of Israelis who are currently playing abroad.

Oded Brandwein
Oded Brandwein
#1. This week's number one is former U20 international guard Oded Brandwein (186-88, agency: N.E.T., currently plays in Poland). He was the major contributor in a Energa Czarni's victory against the tenth-ranked Kotwica (6-15) 81-62 in the Polish TBL in Sunday night's game. Brandwein scored 17 points and added 4 assists (went 6 for 6 at the free throw line) in 27 minutes on the court. Energa Czarni Slupsk (12-9) is placed sixth in the TBL. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. They will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. This year Brandwein averages: 9.8ppg, 1.1rpg, 3.6apg, 2FGP: 40.8%, 3FGP: 39.6% and FT: 86.7% in the 18 games he played so far. He has a dual citizenship: Israeli and Polish. Former Elitzur Yavne starter played for the Israeli U20 national team five years ago.

Robert Rothbart
Robert Rothbart
#2. Second place goes to an international center Robert Rothbart (217-86, agency: INVICTUS Sports Group, currently plays in Poland), who plays in the Polish TBL. Rothbart could not help Start Gdynia (5-16) in their last game on Friday. Despite his very good performance the bottom-ranked Start Gdynia was edged 75-72 at home by the higher-ranked Siarka Jezioro (#9). Rothbart recorded a double-double by scoring 25 points and getting 12 rebounds. He also added 4 blocks. Rothbart's team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And now that game is very crucial. Rothbart has relatively good stats this season: 13.6ppg, 7.2rpg, 1.1bpg, 2FGP: 55.1%(109-198) and FT: 65.1%. He is another player who holds two passports: Bosnia and Herzegovina and Israeli. Ex-Hapoel Galil Elyon player is in the roster of the Israeli senior national team.

Alex Tyus
Alex Tyus
#3. The Israeli player who performed third best last week abroad was an international center Alex Tyus (205-88, college: Florida, currently plays in Italy). He was not able to help Cantu (13-8) in their game against Air Avellino (6-14) in the Italian SerieA. Tyus scored only 4 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Cantu was defeated 63-52 on the road by the much lower-ranked Air Avellino (#14). Tyus is currently fifth on the list of best blockers. His overall stats this season are: 9.1ppg, 5.3rpg, 1.2bpg, 2FGP: 69.6%(78-112) and FT: 55.3%. Tyus is a naturalized American. He is also a member of the Israeli senior national team. Tyus used to play for Maccabi Ashdod in Israeli league.

Yotam Halperin
Yotam Halperin
#4. Shooting guard Yotam Halperin (193-84, currently plays in Germany) contributed to a Bayern Muenchen's victory against the league leader Brose Baskets Bamberg (21-3) 85-71 in the German BBL last Sunday. He recorded 6 points, 3 assists and 5 steals in 18 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. FC Bayern Muenchen (17-8) is placed second in the BBL. This year Halperin's overall stats are: 5.2ppg, 1.8rpg, 2.4apg and 1.3spg in the 24 games. He is also Israeli national team player.

Yuval Naimy
Yuval Naimy
#5. International point guard Yuval Naimy (188-85, currently plays in Russia) helped Triumph Lyubertsy win their game against the second-ranked Enisey Krasnoyarsk (16-8) 78-74 in the Russian PBL on Sunday night. Naimy scored 6 points. Triumph Lyubertsy (5-7) is placed seventh in the PBL. It's Naimy's first season with the team. His total stats this year are: 8.5ppg, 1.3rpg and 2.0apg. Naimy plays currently for the Israeli national team.

The list of other players, who all have Israeli passport but never been selected to any of Israeli national teams:

#1. Jason Thomas (191-G-82, college: American, currently plays in Sweden), who plays in the Swedish Basketligan could not help Boras Basket (21-11) in their last game. Despite Thomas' very good performance Boras Basket lost 118-123 on the road to the lower-ranked (#7) LF Basket. He scored 17 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 36 minutes. Thomas' team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. This year Thomas has relatively solid stats: 11.5ppg, 6.6rpg and 2.0apg in the 32 games he played so far. He is a naturalized American. Thomas used to play for Ironi Kfar Hamaccabia Ramat Gan in Israeli league.

#2. Guy Aud (188-G-89, currently plays in Germany) was not able to help Finke Baskets (9-15) in their game against USC Leipzig (4-20) in the German ProA (second division). Aud scored 8 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 29 minutes. Finke Baskets lost 82-91 in Leipzig to the league outsider (#16) USC Leipzig. It was Finke Baskets' third consecutive loss in a row.
