Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top performances of Israelis who are currently playing abroad.

Alex Tyus
Alex Tyus
#1. This week's number one is an international center Alex Tyus (205-88, college: Florida, currently plays in Italy). He contributed to Cantu's victory against the 11th-ranked Vanoli Cremona (8-14) 87-78 in the Italian SerieA in Sunday night's game. Tyus recorded 9 points, 7 rebounds and 2 blocks in 19 minutes on the court. FoxTown Cantu (14-8) is placed sixth in the SerieA. It's Tyus' first season with the team. Tyus belongs to league's best blockers and is ranked #5 with 1.2bpg. He also averaged so far 9.1ppg, 5.3rpg, 2FGP: 69.8%(81-116) and FT: 55.8% in the 21 games he played so far. Tyus is a naturalized American. He is currently a member of the Israeli senior national team. Tyus used to play for Maccabi Ashdod in Israeli league.

Yotam Halperin
Yotam Halperin
#2. Second place goes to an international shooting guard Yotam Halperin (193-84, currently plays in Germany). He led Bayern Muenchen to an easy victory against the league outsider LTi 46ers (4-22) crushing them 116-59 in the German BBL last Tuesday. Halperin scored 12 points, made 9 passes and 3 steals. FC Bayern Muenchen (18-9) is placed second in the BBL. This season Halperin averages: 5.3ppg, 1.8rpg, 2.5apg, 1.3spg, 2FGP: 70.7%(29-41), 3FGP: 29.9% and FT: 82.6%. He is in the roster of the Israeli senior national team.

Oded Brandwein
Oded Brandwein
#3. The Israeli player who performed third best last week abroad was former U20 international guard Oded Brandwein (186-88, agency: N.E.T., currently plays in Poland). Brandwein led Energa Czarni to a victory against the leader AZS Koszalin 85-77 in the Polish TBL on Friday night. He recorded 15 points and added 8 passes (made all of his five free throws) in 33 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 3 ranked teams in group Places 1-6. Energa Czarni Slupskis placed third. Brandwein has relatively good stats this year: 10.1ppg, 1.1rpg, 3.8apg, 2FGP: 42.9%, 3FGP: 38.2% and FT: 87.7% in the 19 games. He has a dual citizenship: Israeli and Polish. Former Elitzur Yavne starter played for the Israeli U20 national team five years ago.

Yuval Naimy
Yuval Naimy
#4. Point guard Yuval Naimy (188-85, currently plays in VTB United League) contributed to a Triumph Lyubertsy's victory against the tenth-ranked Neptunas (2-15) 97-88 in the VTB United League in Sunday night's game. Naimy scored 10 points. Triumph Lyubertsy (9-8) is placed sixth in group B. His team will play only one more game in the VTB United League Regular Season. And that game will be critical. Naimy's overall stats this season are: 9.9ppg, 1.8rpg and 3.1apg. He is also Israeli national team player.

Robert Rothbart
Robert Rothbart
#5. International center Robert Rothbart (217-86, agency: INVICTUS Sports Group, currently plays in Poland), who plays in the Polish TBL could not help Start Gdynia in their last game. Despite Rothbart's very good performance the sixth-placed Start Gdynia was crushed 87-55 on the road by the leading Anwil in the Places 7-12 group. He was the top scorer with 17 points. Rothbart also added 9 rebounds (made all of his five free throws) in 23 minutes. This year Rothbart has relatively solid stats: 13.8ppg and 7.3rpg in the 21 games. He is another player who holds two passports: Bosnia and Herzegovina and Israeli. Rothbart plays currently for the Israeli national team.

The list of other players, who all have Israeli passport but never been selected to any of Israeli national teams:

#1. Guy Aud (188-G-89, currently plays in Germany) was the major contributor in a Finke Baskets' surprising victory against the sixth-ranked Ehingen/Urspringschule (13-12) crushing them 108-78 in the German ProA (second division) on Saturday night. Aud recorded 16 points and added 7 assists. Finke Baskets Paderborn (10-15) is placed 14th in the ProA. It was his team's first victory after three consecutive loses. Aud belongs to league's best passers and is ranked #3. His overall stats this season are: 10.0ppg, 3.0rpg and 5.9apg. Aud has a dual citizenship: Israeli and German. Worth to mention he played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.

#2. Jason Thomas (191-G-82, college: American, currently plays in Sweden), who plays in the Swedish Basketligan could not help Boras Basket (21-12) to beat Sodertalje Kings (24-9). He scored only 4 points in 23 minutes. Boras Basket lost 85-99 on the road to the higher-ranked (#3) Sodertalje Kings. It was Boras Basket's third consecutive loss in a row. Thomas' team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. Thomas has reliable stats this year: 11.3ppg, 6.4rpg and 2.0apg in the 33 games he played so far.
