The round was rather attractive and full of interesting results. The round ended with defeat of the leader, favorites losing the games and games ending by tiny margin.

Top ranked Hapoel B/S (13-6) recorded its sixth loss on the court of tenth ranked Hapoel Afula on Tuesday night. Visitors were edged by Hapoel Afula 68-66. Orel Lev (195-93) fired 19 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American forward Demetrius Treadwell (201-91, college: Akron) chipped in 13 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. American swingman Jason Williams (198-83, college: UTEP) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for lost side. Hapoel Afula (9-10) moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Hapoel Migd.H. Hapoel B/S at the other side still keeps top position with six games lost. They share it with Hapoel K/S and Maccabi Raanana. Hapoel Afula is looking forward to face higher ranked Maccabi Rehovot (#7) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Hapoel B/S will play against Ironi Nes-Ziona (#5) and is hoping to win this game.
Another exciting game was played in Hod Hasharon between eighth ranked Hasharon and 4th placed Hap.R/G Givat. where host Hasharon (10-9) won against Hap.R/G Givat. (12-7) 92-84. Worth to mention a great performance of American Storm Warren (201-88, college: LSU, agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 21 rebounds. Vernon Teel contributed with 18 points, 5 rebounds, 14 assists and 7 steals for the winners. Hasharon's coach Hanan Hershkovich allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American guard Rashad Madden (196-92, college: Arkansas) answered with 21 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for Hap.R/G Givat.Hasharon maintains eighth place with 10-9 record. Hap.R/G Givat. at the other side keeps the fourth position with seven games lost. Hasharon will play against league's second-placed Maccabi Raanana on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Maccabi Rehovot will meet at home Hapoel Afula (#9) in the next round. Hap.Haifa will play against Hap.R/G Givat. in Givataim and hope to secure a win.
A very interesting game took place in Nes Ziyona. It ended with only three-point home defeat of higher ranked Ironi Nes-Ziona (11-8) to twelfth ranked Galil Elion (8-11) 80-77 on Tuesday evening. It was an exceptional evening for Germain Jordan who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 18 rebounds. Galil Elion moved-up to eleventh place. Ironi Nes-Ziona at the other side keeps the fifth position with eight games lost. Galil Elion's next round opponent will be bottom-ranked Ironi Ramat Gan (#14) at home. Ironi Nes-Ziona will play against the league's leader Hapoel B/S (#1) having rather not much hope for a victory.

In the last two games of round 19 Ramat Hasharon was defeated by Hapoel K/S in Kfar Saba 90-80. Hapoel Migd.H. was smashed by Maccabi Raanana at home 68-87.

Hap.Haifa - Macc.Rehovot 80-82

There was no surprise when 13th ranked Hasharon (4-15) was defeated on the road by third ranked Hapoel Kfar Saba (13-6) 90-80 on Tuesday. Hapoel Kfar Saba shot 26 for 37 from the free-throw line, while Hasharon only scored seven points from the stripe. Hasharon was plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. American guard Denzel Livingston (193-93, college: Incarnate Word) fired a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. His fellow American import forward Terrence Watson (200-87, college: Ball St.) chipped in a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds. American forward Maxie Esho (206-91, college: Massachusetts) produced 21 points and 9 rebounds and center Moti Moscovitz (204-85) added 14 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side. Five Hapoel Kfar Saba and four Hasharon players scored in double figures. Hapoel Kfar Saba have an impressive series of six victories in a row. Hapoel Afula is looking forward to face higher ranked Maccabi Rehovot (#7) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. A very interesting game took place in Nes Ziyona. It ended with only three-point home defeat of higher ranked Ironi Nes-Ziona (11-8) to twelfth ranked Galil Elion (8-11) 80-77 on Tuesday evening. 25 personal fouls committed by Ironi Nes-Ziona helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was an exceptional evening for American power forward Germain Jordan (198-86, college: Dillard) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 18 rebounds. His fellow American import forward Cinmeon Bowers (201-93, college: Auburn) accounted for 20 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side. Four Galil Elion players scored in double figures. American power forward Lee Roberts (201-87, college: Findlay, OH) came up with 13 points and 9 rebounds and the former international Raviv Pitshon (201-89) added 14 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Ironi Nes-Ziona in the defeat. Galil Elion moved-up to eleventh place. Ironi Nes-Ziona at the other side keeps the fifth position with eight games lost. Galil Elion's next round opponent will be bottom-ranked Ironi Ramat Gan (#14) at home. Ironi Nes-Ziona will play against the league's leader Hapoel B/S (#1) having rather not much hope for a victory.
