The most important game in the last round took place in Kiryat Ata between third ranked Hapoel Kfar Saba (13-7) and sixth ranked Ironi Kiryat Ata (12-8) on Tuesday night. Hapoel Kfar Saba was defeated by Ironi Kiryat Ata on the road 62-72. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Hapoel Kfar Saba. Strangely Hapoel Kfar Saba outrebounded Ironi Kiryat Ata 46-33 including 35 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American power forward Dallis Joyner (203-90, college: Stony Brook) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds. Guard Noam Matalon (197-87) contributed with 19 points and 6 assists for the winners. American guard Denzel Livingston (193-93, college: Incarnate Word) replied with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 18 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals for Hapoel Kfar Saba. Ironi Kiryat Ata have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Macc.Rehovot. Hapoel Kfar Saba at the other side keeps the third position with seven games lost. They share it with Hap.R/G Givat.. Ironi Kiryat Ata is looking forward to face Hapoel Migd.H. (#9) in Tarshicha in the next round. Hapoel Kfar Saba will play at home against Galil Elion (#10) and is hoping to win this game.
National League top team - Hapoel B/S (14-6) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat fifth ranked Ironi Nes-Ziona (11-9) in Beer Sheva 77-68. Naturalized Welsh Tal Michael Dunne (196-87) responded with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Hapoel B/S maintains first position with 14-6 record, which they share with Maccabi Raanana. Ironi Nes-Ziona lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the seventh place with nine games lost. Hapoel B/S will play against Maccabi Rehovot (#5) on the road in the next round. Ironi Nes-Ziona will play against Ironi Ramat Gan and hopes to get back on the winning track.
The game between fourth ranked Hap.R/G Givat. (13-7) and 12th ranked Hap.Haifa (7-13) in Givataim on Tuesday ended with biggest points difference. Hap.R/G Givat. outscored guests from Haifa 93-73. The winners were led by Yaniv Solomon who scored that evening 24 points and 9 rebounds. Even a double-double of 14 points and 10 rebounds by Jaraun Burrows did not help to save the game for Hap.Haifa. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Hap.R/G Givat. moved-up to third place, which they share with Hapoel K/S. Hap.Haifa lost eighth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the twelfth position with 13 games lost. Hap.R/G Givat. will meet Hapoel Afula (#11) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Hap.Haifa will play against the league's second-placed Maccabi Raanana and hope to secure a win.

There were no big surprises in other games of round 20: Hapoel Migd.H. beat Ramat Hasharon on the road 81-74. Maccabi Raanana won against Maccabi H/H on its own court 94-90. Hapoel Afula unfortunately lost to Macc.Rehovot in a road game 67-74. Galil Elion managed to beat Ironi Ramat Gan at home 100-89.

Ramat Hasharon - Hapoel Migd.H. 74-81

No shocking result in a game when ninth ranked Hapoel Migd.H. (10-10) beat 13th ranked Hasharon (4-16) in Ramat Hasharon 81-74 on Thursday. Hapoel Migd.H. made 21-of-25 free shots (84.0 percent) during the game. The winners were led by American swingman Marcus Relphorde (198-88, college: Colorado) who scored that evening 24 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals and American-Puerto Rican Chris Gaston (201-89, college: Fordham) supported him with 21 points and 7 rebounds. Four Hapoel Migd.H. players scored in double figures. Even 20 points and 7 rebounds by American forward Lorenzo Gordon (201-83, college: Oklahoma City) did not help to save the game for Hasharon.
