The Regular Season in National League is slowly approaching the end. But there may be still some important changes in the final standings in the last 4 rounds.

Ninth-ranked Hapoel Afula (10-12) made lots of trouble for first ranked Maccabi Raanana (16-6) on Tuesday. Maccabi Raanana managed to secure only two-point victory 77-75. However their fans expected much easier game. Maccabi Raanana outrebounded Hapoel Afula 36-22 including 26 on the defensive glass. Swingman Yovel Zoosman (199-98) fired 20 points for the winners. American center Josh Hairston (203-92, college: Duke, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 12 points and 11 rebounds. Guard Omer Tal (188-92) produced 18 points and 7 assists for lost side. Maccabi Raanana have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 16-6 record. Hapoel Afula at the other side keeps the ninth place with 12 games lost. They share the position with Hapoel Migd.H. and Galil Elion. Maccabi Raanana are looking forward to face Maccabi Rehovot (#7) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Hapoel Afula will play against Hasharon and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
Fourteenth-ranked Ironi Ramat Gan (2-20) made lots of trouble for second ranked Hapoel B/S (15-7) in Beer Sheva. Hapoel B/S managed to secure only two-point victory 86-84. However their fans expected much easier game. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Jeff Allen (201-87, college: Virginia Tech) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 30 points and 10 rebounds. Anthony Fisher contributed with 19 points and 5 assists for the winners. American power forward Anthony Lee (206-91, college: Ohio St.) replied with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 11 rebounds for Ironi Ramat Gan. Hapoel B/S maintains second position with 15-7 record behind leader Maccabi Raanana. Ironi Ramat Gan lost twelfth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 20 lost games. Hapoel B/S will play against Hap.R/G Givat. (#4) in Givataim in the next round. Ironi Ramat Gan will play on the road against Hapoel Kfar Saba (#3) and hopes to get back on the winning track.

At the losing side Sir'Dominic Pointer responded with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 12 rebounds. Hasharon maintains eighth position with 12-10 record. Loser Ironi Kiryat Ata keeps the fifth place with nine games lost. They share the position with Macc.Rehovot and Ironi Nes-Ziona. Hasharon will meet at home Galil Elion (#10) in the next round. Ironi Kiryat Ata will play against Hap.Haifa (#12) and hope to secure a win.

Visiting Hapoel Kfar Saba was defeated by Ironi Nes-Ziona in Nes Ziyona 77-60. Elad Hofman notched 17 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the effort. Ironi Nes-Ziona moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Macc.Rehovot and Ironi K-A. Hapoel Kfar Saba at the other side keeps the third position with eight games lost. Ironi Nes-Ziona's next round opponent will be Hapoel Migd.H. (#11) in Tarshicha where they are favorite. Hapoel Kfar Saba will play at home against Ironi Ramat Gan (#14) and hope to win that game.
The game in Givataim was also quite interesting. One of their biggest challengers Maccabi Rehovot (13-9) played at the court of sixth ranked Hap.R/G Givat. (14-8). Hap.R/G Givat. defeated Maccabi Rehovot 66-50 on Tuesday. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Maccabi Rehovot. Jamal Olasewere fired a double-double by scoring 19 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Hap.R/G Givat. moved-up to third place, which they share with Hapoel K/S. Newly promoted Maccabi Rehovot dropped to the fifth position with nine games lost. Hap.R/G Givat. will face league's second-placed Hapoel B/S in Beer Sheva in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Maccabi Rehovot will play at home against the league's leader Maccabi Raanana and hope to win that game.

In the last two games of round 22 Hap.Haifa defeated Ramat Hasharon in a road game 87-78. Galil Elion beat Hapoel Migd.H. at home 85-75.

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 13th ranked Hasharon's (4-18) home loss to twelfth ranked Hap.Haifa (8-14) 78-87 on Tuesday. Four Hasharon players scored in double figures. Newly promoted Hap.Haifa maintains twelfth position with 8-14 record. Hasharon lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth place with 18 games lost. Hap.Haifa will face higher ranked Ironi Kiryat Ata (#6) at home in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
