The games at this stage are more interesting as they can be crucial for the final standings in Regular Season. Despite we already know who is stronger and who is weaker, there may be still last minute surprises and upsets.

The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Maccabi Raanana (16-7) on the court of seventh ranked Maccabi Rehovot on Tuesday night. Visitors were defeated by Maccabi Rehovot 88-77. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Maccabi Raanana. Maccabi Rehovot looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. American guard Marquis Addison (195-91, college: Missouri So., agency: XL Basketball Agency) orchestrated the victory by scoring 25 points and 5 rebounds. Maccabi Rehovot is looking forward to face Hasharon (#13) in Ramat Hasharon in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Maccabi Raanana will play at home against Hap.R/G Givat. (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Very important is a road loss of second ranked Hapoel B/S (15-8) against fourth ranked Hap.R/G Givat. (15-8) on Tuesday night. Visiting Hapoel B/S was defeated by Hap.R/G Givat. in a tough game in Givataim 75-84.
