Hapoel K/S fired past Ironi K-A on the road to sweep the quarterfinal series. American forward Terrence Watson (200-87, college: Ball St.) notched a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds to lead the effort and center Miron Ruina (202-98) supported him with 11 points. Even a double-double of 23 points and 12 rebounds by American swingman SirDominic Pointer (198-92, college: St.John's) did not help to save the game for Ironi Kiryat Ata. His fellow American import power forward Dallis Joyner (203-90, college: Stony Brook) added 18 points and 8 rebounds for the hosts. Four Ironi Kiryat Ata players scored in double figures.
