As we anticipatd yesterday, Montepaschi Siena added Nikos Zisis (195-G-83) to his roster. The pointguard inked a 1+1 contract. It's his 2nd coming to Italy after the 2 seasons spent at Treviso from 2005 to 2007. Nikos Zisis was also an Olympiakos target but Siena offered to him more minutes and responsabilities. The Italians suffered defeat yesterday against Canada 80-89, but today they succeeded to beat China 90-79 for 1-1 record in Group C. Rieti announced that Joe Bryant will be the head coach for the next season. Joe is the father of Kobe Bryant and a former star player of italian leagues: he played 247 games in Italy with an average of 29.7 ppg.
