There was no lack of excitement in the last round games. The round ended with change at the leadership position, few extra overtimes, favorites losing the games and games ending by tiny margin.

There was a change at the Lega2 leadership position after last games. Round 22 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Trenkwalder RE (14-5). They were defeated by third ranked Givova Scafati (15-6) 77-61 on Sunday night. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Trenkwalder RE. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The game was mostly controlled by Givova Scafati. Trenkwalder RE managed to win fourth quarter 15-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American power forward James Thomas (203-80, college: Texas) scored 8 points and 16 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and naturalized Argentinian point guard Marcos Casini (188-80) chipped in 17 points during the contest.
