Hairston
As expected, Malik Hairston (198-G-87, college: Oregon) stays with EA7 Emporio Armani Milano. The player had offers from CSKA Moscow, Regal Barcelona and Fenerbahce, but at the end he made a decision to stay with Milano signing a 2-year contract extension. Hairston arrived to Milano last summer. For 12 Euroleague games with them he had 13.9 ppg, 2.8 rpg and 1.5 apg. In SerieA the player added 12.7 ppg, 3.8 rpg and 1.9 apg for 33 games. The player was awarded with Eurobasket.com Italian SerieA All-Imports Team -12 and Eurobasket.com All-Italian SerieA 2nd Team -12, while Milano reached Playoff Finals. Malik Hairston won the SerieA title with Montepaschi in 2011. He helped them with 10.3 ppg and 2.7 rpg for 23 games. In the past, Hairston played for San Antonio Spurs and Austin Toros. He graduated at the University of Oregon in 2008.
EA7 Emporio Armani Milano already signed deals with Keith Langford (193-G/F-83, college: Kansas), Richard Hendrix and David Chiotti (205-F/C-84, agency: Court Side, college: N.Mexico).
David Chiotti spent three seasons at Casale Monferrato helping the team getting to the lega A two years ago and then gave a great contribution last season at his first appearence in the first italian league with 9 ppg and 7 rpg. Chiotti was born at Palo Alto California but has got an italian passport, is a center and his skills allow him to play also at spot 4. After releasing Mason Rocca Milano should have completed its roster under the boards with this deal.
Keith Langford parted ways with Maccabi Tel Aviv recently. He joined them at the beginning of the last season. He appeared 20 times in Euroleague averaging 10.9 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.1 assists. The player also added 14.2 ppg, 4 rpg and 3.2 apg for 22 games in Israeli Premier league. He helped the club to win the championship title and was named Eurobasket.com All-Israeli League Guard of the Year -12. Langford and Maccabi also won the Adriatic league title and Israeli Cup last season. In Adriatic league the player had 11.8 ppg, 3.3 rpg and 1.8 spg for 19 games. He was named Eurobasket.com All-Adriatic League Finals MVP -12. Before Maccabi, Keith Langford played for Khimky Moscow and La Fortezza Bologna.

The strange case of James Nunnally - 2 days ago

After "only" 6 months from the "fact", James Nunnally (201-F-90, college: UCSB) was suspended for one game in the italian Serie A. The suspension came from this official statement by the FIP (Italian Basketball Federation). The fact in question is a tweet written by Nunnally after game 2 of the last Serie A season playoffs between Grissin Bon Reggio Emilia and Scandone Avellino, in wich the ex Avellino player complained about the referees: "Five versus Eight".
