Andrea Pecile (187-PG-80) stays with Biancoblu Conad Bologna for the next season. The player joined the team last seaosn and announced staying for another year. Last season for the team he averaged 12.9ppg, 3.0rpg, 2.5apg, 1.5spg, FGP: 46.5%, 3PT: 31.7%, FT: 86.1%. In 2011 Effe Biancoblu Bologna announced signing of Andrea Pecile. Andrea Pecile headed to his new club from Fileni BPA Jesi, where he spent 2010/11. He played 23 games for them in LegaDue averaging 15.7 points, 4.1 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.8 steals. For his performance Pecile was awarded with Eurobasket.com All-Italian Lega2 Honorable Mention -11. Before Jesi, he spent one year with Edilizia Moderna Rimini. There Pecile had 8.2 ppg, 2.1 rpg and 2.1 apg for 17 games in LegaDue. In the past, the Italian PG played for Breogan, Cajasol, Granada, Air Avelino, Montepaschi Siena and Scavolini. He also played for the Italian NT from 2000 to 2006.

Montepaschi Siena's coach Luca Banchi used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
