Dan Mavraides (193-G-88, college: Princeton) is a new member of Sidigas Avellino. The American/Greek guard penned a 1-month deal. He will temporarily replace Dwight Hardy (188-PG-87, college: St.John's) who has to resolve passport issues in Congo. Mavraides arrives to the club from Aris Thessaloniki, where he spent last season. He appeared 25 times in Greek league averaging 3.8 points and 1.7 rebounds. The player had better numbers in EuroCup adding 6 ppg and 1.8 apg for 12 appearances. It was first season as a pro for Dan Mavraides, who graduated at Princeton University in 2011. He had 12.7 ppg, 4.6 rpg and 2.8 apg for 32 games as a senior. Princeton was Ivy League champion.
