The fans could enjoy quite many interesting games in the last round. The round ended with change at the leadership position, few extra overtimes, favorites losing the games and games ending by tiny margin.

Lega 2 round 7 caused change at the leadership position. First defeat of league's leader Biancoblu BO (5-1) against eighth ranked Tezenis VE (4-3) 80-69 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Biancoblu BO. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 80-69. Tezenis VE made 19-of-22 free shots (86.4 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of Nigerian-American power forward Olaseni Lawal (208-86, college: Wayne St., MI, agency: Pro One Sports) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds. American point guard Richard McConnell (182-89, college: St.Mary's, CA, agency: Priority Sports) contributed with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Naturalized Ghanian guard David Cournooh (188-90) answered with 18 points for Biancoblu BO. Biancoblu BO's coach Stefano Salieri rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Tezenis VE moved-up to sixth place, which they share with AcegasAps TR and Givova Scafati. Biancoblu BO at the other side dropped to the second position with one game lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Giorgo Tesi PT. Biancoblu BO will play next round against AcegasAps TR trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Tezenis VE will try to continue on its current victory against fourteenth ranked Aget Service IM in Imola.
The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Tuscany Pistoia as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Tuscany Pistoia edged 7th ranked Givova Scafati at home 88-86 in overtime. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Givova Scafati. It was a great evening for Panamanian swingman Michael Hicks (194-76, college: Texas A&M-CC) who led his team to a victory scoring 23 points. Antonio Graves helped adding 22 points and 4 assists. At the losing side American point guard Keddric Mays (183-84) responded with 34 points (!!!) and 5 steals. Tuscany Pistoia have a solid series of three victories in a row. As mentioned above they took over a top position. Givova Scafati at the other side dropped to the sixth place with three games lost. They share the position with AcegasAps TR and Tezenis VE. Givova Scafati will play next round against Fileni BPA Jesi trying to get back on the winning streak. Tuscany Pistoia will try to continue on its current victory against fourth ranked Novipiu Casale on the road.

In the last two games of round 7 LeGanberi FO beat AcegasAps TR on the road 76-70. Pall.Trento won against FCM Ferentino on its own court 87-81. Bottom-ranked Upea CdO managed to outperform Fileni BPA Jesi in Capo d'Orlando 83-78. Prima Veroli recorded a loss to Novipiu Casale at home 73-74.
The most impressive performance of 7th round was 27 points and 6 assists by Francesco Guarino of FCM Ferentino.

AcegasAps TR - LeGanberi FO 70-76

There was a surprise result when eleventh ranked LeGamberi Foods Forlì (3-4) beat higher ranked AcegasAps TR (4-3) in Trieste 76-70 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 14 points after three quarters before their 29-9 charge, which allowed them to win the game. LeGamberi Foods Forlì made 21-of-26 free shots (80.8 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 AcegasAps TR turnovers. It was a very good performance for American point guard Bo Spencer (186-89, college: Nebraska) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 4 assists (made all of his twelve free throws !!!). Guard Stefano Borsato (192-86, agency: Two Points) contributed with 13 points for the winners. Power forward Luca Gandini (205-85) answered with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 13 rebounds and American guard Jobey Thomas (194-80, college: Charlotte) added 18 points in the effort for AcegasAps TR. AcegasAps TR's coach Eugenio Dalmasson tested eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. LeGamberi Foods Forlì moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Fileni BPA Jesi. Newly promoted AcegasAps TR dropped to the sixth position with three games lost. LeGamberi Foods Forlì will have a break next round.

Pall.Trento - FCM Ferentino 87-81

Rather expected game when 13th ranked FCM Ferentino (1-5) lost on the road to tenth ranked Pall.Trento (3-3) 87-81 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 87-81. It was a very good performance for Nigerian-American point guard Michael Umeh (188-84, college: UNLV, agency: Two Points) who helped to win the game recording 26 points. The former international power forward Luca Garri (207-82) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. point guard Francesco Guarino (182-79) answered with 27 points and 6 assists and American-Guyanese forward Delroy James (203-87, college: Rhode Island) added 20 points in the effort for FCM Ferentino.
