The fans could enjoy quite many interesting games in the last round. The round ended with favorites losing the games and games ending by tiny margin.

Nazionale A round 12 most important game was a victory of Castelletto over one of their biggest challengers Treviglio 88-84 on Sunday night. The guests trailed by 7 points after three quarters before their 25-14 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Castelletto shot 62.7 percent from the field. Castelletto had a 31-18 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a good game for forward Francesco Ihedioha (196-86) who led his team to a victory with 17 points and 9 rebounds. Forward Alex Ranuzzi (195-86, agency: Interperformances) contributed with 17 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. point guard Simone Ferrarese (182-87) replied with 27 points and 5 assists for Treviglio. Treviglio's coach Adriano Vertemati rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Castelletto (8-3) have an impressive six-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place. Treviglio lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the fifth position with four games lost. They share it with Firenze. Castelletto are looking forward to face Lucca (#4) at home in the next round. Treviglio will play against Bari and is hoping to win this game.
Fourteenth-ranked Mazzeo San Severo (4-8) was very close to win a game against second ranked Torino (10-2). Torino managed to secure only three-point victory 78-75. However their fans expected much easier game. Worth to mention a great performance of naturalized Polish power forward Jakub Wojciechowski (210-90) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points and 17 rebounds and Filippo Baldi Rossi who added 10 points and 13 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was swingman Ivan Scarponi (196-86) with 19 points and 7 rebounds. Torino have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Matera. Mazzeo San Severo at the other side dropped to the fifteenth place with eight games lost. Torino will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Mazzeo San Severo will play at home against Chieti (#9) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
Nazionale A top team - Matera (10-2) managed to deliver another win on Sunday. This time they beat fifth ranked Firenze (7-4) 74-64. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Firenze. The winners were led by Antonio Iannuzzi who had that evening a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds. Even 22 points by Stefano Rabaglietti did not help to save the game for Firenze. Matera have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 10-2 record, which they share with Torino. Loser Firenze keeps the fifth place with four games lost. They share the position with Treviglio. Matera will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Firenze will play against Perugia (#12) and hope to secure a win.
A very interesting game took place in Reggio Calabria. It ended with only three-point defeat on the road of higher ranked Bari (5-6) to eighteenth ranked Reggio Calabr. (2-9) 79-76 on Sunday evening. The best player for the winners was Marco Ammannato who scored 25 points and 6 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Reggio Calabr.'s coach Francesco Ponticiello allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Reggio Calabr. maintains eighteenth position with 2-9 record. Bari lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with six games lost. Reggio Calabr.'s next round opponent will be higher ranked Casalpusterlengo (#11) on the road and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
Important game to mention about took place in Chieti. Ninth ranked Chieti (5-6) saved a 3-point victory at home edging 13th ranked Naturhouse Ferrara (4-7) 65-62 on Sunday evening. It was a good game for Simone Gatti who led his team to a victory with 22 points and 8 rebounds. Naturhouse Ferrara's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Chieti moved-up to eighth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Newly promoted Naturhouse Ferrara dropped to the twelfth position with seven games lost. Chieti will face Mazzeo San Severo (#15) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Naturhouse Ferrara will play against Latina Basket.

There were no big surprises in other games of round 12: Omegna beat Agrigento on the road 61-53. Mirandola lost to Casalpusterlengo on its own court 46-59. Recanati unfortunately lost to Perugia in a road game 57-64.

Reggio Calabr. - Bari 79-76

A very interesting game took place in Reggio Calabria. It ended with only three-point defeat on the road of higher ranked Bari (5-6) to eighteenth ranked Reggio Calabr. (2-9) 79-76 on Sunday evening. Bari was ahead by 2 points after three quarters before a 25-20 charge of Reggio Calabr., which allowed them to win the game. 24 personal fouls committed by Bari helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities.
