Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top performances of Italians who are currently playing abroad.

Andrea Bargnani
Andrea Bargnani
#1. This week's number one is an international power forward Andrea Bargnani (209-85, currently plays in NBA), who plays in the NBA. He could not help the Toronto Raptors (3-13) in their last game. Despite Bargnani's very good performance the Toronto Raptors were edged 91-90 on the road by the Detroit Pistons. He was the top scorer with 34 points. Bargnani also added 5 rebounds and dished 4 assists in 38 minutes on the court. It was Raptors' sixth consecutive loss in a row. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. It's Bargnani's seventh year with the team. He has individually a very good season with high stats. Bargnani averages: 17.9ppg, 4.7rpg, 1.5apg, 2FGP: 41.3%, 3FGP: 36.2% and FT: 83.3% in the 15 games he played so far. He played for the Italian senior national team one years ago.

Danilo Gallinari
Danilo Gallinari
#2. Second place goes to an international small forward Danilo Gallinari (205-88, agency: Players Group, currently plays in NBA). He was the major contributor in a Denver Nuggets' victory against the Golden State Warriors (8-6) 102-91 in the NBA on Friday night. Gallinari scored 20 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 35 minutes. The Denver Nuggets have 8-7 record this season. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. But the season is still in it's first stage and everything can happen. Gallinari has very impressive stats this year: 15.1ppg, 6.0rpg, 2.4apg, 2FGP: 46.2%, 3FGP: 23.4% and FT: 77.4% in the 14 games. He is in the roster of the Italian senior national team.

Marco Belinelli
Marco Belinelli
#3. The Italian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international guard Marco Belinelli (196-86, currently plays in NBA). Belinelli led Chicago Bulls to an easy victory against the Dallas Mavericks (7-9) crushing them 101-78 in the NBA on Wednesday night. He scored 11 points (was perfect 5-for-5 from the free throw line). The Chicago Bulls have 7-7 record this season. But there are still lots of games to play and it's a long way to go. This season Belinelli averages only 5.2ppg, 2FGP: 34.6%, 3FGP: 40.7% and FT: 89.5%. He played for the Italian national team one years ago.

Christian DiGiuliomaria
Christian DiGiuliomaria
#4. An experienced power forward Christian DiGiuliomaria (209-79, currently plays in Switzerland), who plays in the Swiss LNA was not able to help one of league's weakest teams Lugano Tigers (4-4) in their last game. Despite his very good performance Lugano Tigers lost in an overtime 71-78 at home to the higher-ranked (#4) Fribourg. DiGiuliomaria was the top scorer with 20 points in 32 minutes. It was his first game for Lugano Tigers this season. It's DiGiuliomaria's first year with the team. He used to play for the Italian national team back in 2008.

The list of other players, who all have Italian passport but never been selected to any of Italian national teams:

#1. Marcelinho Huertas (191-PG-83, agency: Edge Sports, currently plays in Spain), who plays in the Spanish ACB could not help Regal FC Barcelona (5-4) in their last game on Sunday. Despite Huertas' very good performance Regal FC Barcelona was edged 81-78 on the road by the much higher-ranked Valencia Basket (#3). He was the top scorer with 21 points. Huertas also added 6 assists (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line). But the season just started, so everything may happen. Huertas belongs to league's best passers and is ranked #6. He has very reliable stats this season: 10.6ppg, 2.3rpg, 4.2apg and 1.1spg. Huertas has a dual citizenship: Brazilian and Italian.

   #2.
