28-year old point guard Bobby Brown (188-PG-84) had a very impressive game in the last round for Montepaschi and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 10. He had the game-high 20 points adding three rebounds and eight assists for Montepaschi in his team's victory, helping them to outclass Sidigas AV (#15, 3-7) with 36-point margin 101-65. Montepaschi maintains the 3rd position in Italian league. They are still close to the very top. Montepaschi would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 8-2 record. In the team's last game Brown had a remarkable 62.5% from 2-point range. He turned to be Montepaschi's top player in his first season with the team. California State University, Fullerton graduate has very impressive stats this year. Brown is in league's top in points (6th best: 16.3ppg), assists (7th best: 3.7apg) and averages solid 57.1% FGP.
Second best performed player last round was Trey Johnson (196-G-84, agency: Priority Sports) of Angelico BI. He is American-Qatari guard in his first season at Angelico BI. In the last game Johnson recorded impressive 31 points and 7 rebounds. Bad luck as Angelico BI lost that game 75-82 to slightly higher-ranked Sutor MGR (3-7). The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Angelico BI dropped in the standings to 13th position. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 3-7 record. Johnson is a newcomer at Angelico BI and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.
Third place about best performers goes to center Andrea Crosariol (211-C-84) of Pesaro (#16). Crosariol scored 14 points and grabbed eleven rebounds (!!!). Despite Crosariol's great performance Pesaro lost 58-76 to the higher-ranked SAIE3 BO (#5, 6-4). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Pesaro can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have extremely bad season and 2-8 record places them at the very bottom of the standings. Too bad for Crosariol he does not play for a better team. But maybe if he did, his season stats would not be that high. Crosariol has individually a great season in Italy. After 10 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 7.2rpg (9th best). He also has 1.2bpg and FGP: 72.1%.
