Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top performances of Italians who are currently playing abroad.

Danilo Gallinari
Danilo Gallinari
#1. This week's number one is an international small forward Danilo Gallinari (205-88, agency: Players Group, currently plays in NBA), who plays in the NBA. He could not help the Denver Nuggets (11-12) in their last game. Despite Gallinari's very good performance the Denver Nuggets were edged 108-105 on the road by the Minnesota Timberwolves. He was the second best scorer with 24 points. Gallinari also added 4 rebounds in 35 minutes on the court. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. Gallinari has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 15.6ppg, 6.0rpg, 2.7apg, 2FGP: 44.9%, 3FGP: 30.4% and FT: 80.6% in the 22 games he played so far. Gallinari is currently a member of the Italian senior national team.

Marco Belinelli
Marco Belinelli
#2. Second place goes to an international guard Marco Belinelli (196-86, currently plays in NBA). He led Chicago Bulls to a victory over the New York Knicks (16-5) 93-85 in the NBA last Saturday. Belinelli was MVP of the game. He scored 22 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. The Chicago Bulls have 12-9 record this season. But the season just started, so everything may happen. Belinelli has relatively good stats this year: 8.6ppg, 1.8rpg, 1.1apg and FT: 85.4%. He played for the Italian national team in 2011.

Andrea Bargnani
Andrea Bargnani
#3. The Italian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international power forward Andrea Bargnani (209-85, currently plays in NBA), who plays in the NBA. Bargnani was not able to help the Toronto Raptors (4-19) in their last game. Despite his very good performance the Toronto Raptors were crushed 131-99 in Salt Lake City by the Utah Jazz. Bargnani was the top scorer with 20 points. He also added 8 rebounds and made 2 blocks in 33 minutes. It was Raptors' sixth consecutive loss in a row. But the season is still in it's first stage and everything can happen. It's Bargnani's seventh year with the team. Bargnani has very impressive stats this season: 16.0ppg, 4.3rpg, 1.3apg, 2FGP: 43.1%, 3FGP: 31.9% and FT: 82.8% in the 21 games. He played for the Italian national team one years ago.

Christian DiGiuliomaria
Christian DiGiuliomaria
#4. An experienced power forward Christian DiGiuliomaria (209-79, currently plays in Switzerland) contributed to a Lugano Tigers' victory against the closely-ranked BBC Nyon (2-8) 81-71 in the Swiss LNA last Saturday. DiGiuliomaria recorded 12 points and added 3 passes. Lugano Tigers (6-4) are placed fifth in the LNA. It's DiGiuliomaria's first season with the team. This year he has relatively solid stats: 11.7ppg, 3.0rpg, 2.3apg and 1.3spg. DiGiuliomaria used to play for the Italian national team back in 2008.

Amedeo Della Valle
Amedeo Della Valle
#5. Former U18 international guard Amedeo Della Valle (196-93, currently plays college basketball in the States) managed to help Ohio State University to win against the Long Beach State University crushing them 89-55 in the NCAA on Saturday night. He scored 5 points. The Ohio State University has conference record this season. Della Valle has reliable stats this year: 11.7ppg, 3.0rpg, 2.3apg and 1.3spg. He used to play for the Italian U18 national team two years ago.

The list of other players, who all have Italian passport but never been selected to any of Italian national teams:

#1. Paulinho Boracini (183-G-84, currently plays in Brazil) led Pinheiros/Sky to an overtime victory against the 11th-ranked Limeira (2-4) 102-100 in the Brazilian Paulista (second division) in Monday night's game.
