Angelico Biella (SerieA) waived 25-year old American forward Craig Brackins (208-104kg-87, college: Iowa State). In 10 SerieA games he played this season he recorded 12.8ppg and 5.4rpg. Great season indeed as he was voted to Italian SerieA All-Star Game. The last season Brackins played at the 76ers in NBA. But in 13 games last year he averaged just 1.7ppg and 1.2rpg. He helped them to make it to the conference semifinals. Brackins also played at Maine Red Claws in D-League that season. In 7 games he averaged impressive 18.9ppg, 9.3rpg, 2.7apg and 1.6bpg. The other team he played shortly was Maccabi Ashdod in Israeli Winner League. In four games he averaged 13.8ppg, 5.3rpg and 2.0apg. The most of previous (10-11) season Brackins spent at Springfield Armor in D-League. In 18 games that year he averaged impressive 20.1ppg, 8.6rpg and 1.9apg. Another team he played briefly were the Hornets in NBA. In three games he averaged only 2.7ppg and 1.0rpg. Two years ago Brackins was drafted by Oklahoma City Thunder (NBA) in first round (21st overall). The former Iowa State standout is in his third season in pro basketball. Brackins received NABC Division I All-District 8 2nd Team award in 2010 at his college time. Brackins represented USA at the World University Games in Belgrade (Serbia) three years ago. His team won Bronze and his stats at that event were 7 games: 7.1ppg, 6.0rpg, FGP: 57.7%, 3PT: 29.4%, FT: 62.5%. Brackins has played previously for another NBA team New Orleans Hornets.
