Serbian U18 National Team celebrated victory in the consolation final of Torneo di Barakaldo in Spain. They knocked down Italian counterparts to step onto the pedestal. Aleksandra Crvendakic (188-F/C-96) came up with 22 points to pace the winners. Serbia led by a single point after ten minutes of game 21:20. They kept Italy behind throughout the second quarter. Serbia entered the second half up by three points 37:34. Serbia cleared off in the third term. They went on a 17:10 run to ensure a 10-point buffer before the final stanza 54:44. Italy outscored their opponents in the fourth frame but could not avoid the loss. Sanja Mandic (177-G-95) provided 18 points, while Dragana Stankovic (193-PF-95) added 16 points for Serbia. Cecilia Zandalasini (181-SF-96) answered with 17 points for Italy. Allegra Botteghi (180-SF-95) chipped in 9 points in the loss.

Buceti top-scored for the winners with 18 points and Dotio as well as Kraco had 13 each. Panela followed them with 7 points in a win. Natasa Kovacevic (187-F-94, agency: Interperformances) replied with 11 points in defeat and Dordevic brought 8.

Virtus Elite gets bigger with Lauma Reke (185-F/C-86, college: St.Peter's) and Lindsey Moore (175-G-91, college: Nebraska) for the next season.
Elite Virtus La Spezia added to their roster 27-year old Latvian power forward Lauma Reke.The last season she played for Termocarispe La Spezia and in 26 games she recorded 14.4ppg, 7.3rpg and 2.0spg. Virtus Elite gets bigger with Lauma Reke (185-F/C-86, college: St.Peter's) and Lindsey Moore (175-G-91, college: Nebraska) for the next season. Elite Virtus La Spezia added to their roster 27-year old Latvian power forward Lauma Reke.The last season she played for Termocarispe La Spezia and in 26 games she recorded 14.4ppg, 7.3rpg and 2.0spg. She helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in the league. The earlier season Reke played at Ceprini Costruzioni Orvieto. In 32 games she averaged 9.7ppg, 6.1rpg and 1.6spg. She contributed to her team making it to the final. A very spectacular season in her career as she was voted to Eurobasket.com Italian A2 All-Bosmans Team. Reke has played also professionally in Spain (Mencey Uni). She attended St.Peter's College until 2008 and it is her fifth season as a professional player. Lindsey Moore was drafted by Minnesota Lynx (WNBA) in first round (12th overall). The former University of Nebraska star is in her first season in pro basketball. Moore's team was regular season runner-up in Big Ten. She was voted All-Big Ten 2nd Team in 2012 and 2013 at her college time.

Marija Micovic (187-F-82, agency: Players Group) will remain at Gruppo L.P.A. Ariano Irpino in Italy. The player and the team agreed extending the contract for 2013/2014 season.
In 29 games last season she had 13.2ppg, 8.3rpg, 1.2apg and 1.2spg. She helped them to make it to the semifinals. She also spent pre-season at Lavezzini Parma (A1) in Italian league earlier that year. Micovic won Italian A1 championship title in 2005.
